I have a musical degree in Jazz Composition and have been playing multiple instruments for 10 years.
I offer lessons in music theory with a strong emphasis on improvisation.
The instrument used for the classes would be a keyboard but the learnings can be applied to any instrument you already play.
I can help with critical listening, ear training, solo building and many other practical skills.
Any theoretical concept is taught based on the needs of the student and to serve the purpose of their own way of self expression.
I also offer Ableton Live tutoring for whom is interested in musical production and composing.

The goal for this class is for You to be able to improvise and fit in into any music group as a Keyboardist/Pianist, being able to accompany singers or other instrumentalists, and being able to play by your own as well.

I'm going to introduce You to a lot of improvisational concepts rooting from the jazz world, applicable for all genres.

We will work on:

- Solo Piano
- Accompany Singers
- Playing in Bands of different lineup
- Understanding difference between classic Keyboard Instruments (Synths, Hammond Organ, Rhodes, Wurli, Piano)
- Walking bass
- Stylistic Trademarks
- Improvising in Different Time Feels
- Learning Repertoire
- Composing/Arranging/Songwriting tips
- Reharmonization excercises
- Understanding voice leading and harmonic movements
- Improvisation tools
- Reading
- Learning and making Transcriptions
