Que vous n’ayez aucune expérience ou quelques semaines de pratique sous les mains, nous irons étape par étape, en tenant compte de votre niveau, pour que vous évoluez à votre rythme .

Lessen in piano, klavecimbel en historische en moderne cello, met een programma en repertoire dat is aangepast aan de doelstellingen en het tempo van elke leerling, jong, oud of volwassen, voor een algemene introductie tot deze instrumenten, ter voorbereiding op het hoger muziekonderwijs, als aanvullend hulpmiddel voor examens aan muziekacademies, of als hobby, of voor het maken van amateurmuziek in groepsverband, of voor het ontwikkelen van kwaliteiten als concentratie, coördinatie, discipline, uitdrukkingsvermogen, stijlbewustzijn en muziekgeschiedenis.
In mijn lessen vertrouw ik vooral op oude traditionele methoden, boeken en repertoire, die hun efficiëntie in de loop der tijd hebben bewezen. Ik maak ook gebruik van de onderwijstraditie van partimenti van de oude Napolitaanse conservatoria - oefeningen voor het componeren die al vroeg kunnen worden toegepast. Dit voegt niet alleen een creatief element toe, al snel na het begin, maar leert ook via oefening de basisbeginselen van harmonie en polyfonie.
Indien de student dit wenst, kunnen de lessen gecombineerd worden (+30 min.) met theorie/solfege (gehoortraining).

Concernant le contenu du cours je le module en fonction de vos attentes et objectifs.

Je lie systématiquement le travail concret de l'instrument ( Classique, Variété ou Jazz ) avec un apprentissage minimal des éléments de base de la pratique musicale en général : théorie de la musique, formation de l'oreille intérieure, développement de la sensibilité harmonique, mélodique et rythmique, solfège etc... Je peux volontiers aborder tout cela plus profondément à la demande de l'élève, c'est passionnant aussi vous verrez !

La première rencontre sera l'occasion de discuter de tout cela, afin de mettre en place un cadre adopté à votre profil (Jeune enfant débutant, adolescent confirmé, adulte en reprise ou autres...)

Je considère que l'essentiel est de trouver un bon équilibre entre les exigences de rigueur inévitables pour progresser dans l'apprentissage du piano et le plaisir immédiat de jouer de la musique, qu'on est en droit d'attendre d'un si bel instrument !

Un fois trouvé, la joie et la bonne humeur sont garanties !

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player.
I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor.
I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco.
In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso.
I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe.
I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop.
I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3).

Deze cursus toegepaste muziektheorie is bedoeld voor alle gepassioneerde muzikanten, ongeacht hun niveau.

Het doel is om je muzikale kennis en vaardigheden te verbreden door muziek in zijn geheel te begrijpen. Het doel is om te kunnen ontcijferen en begrijpen hoe muziek (niet alleen klassiek, maar ook pop, jazz, rock, elektronische muziek, enz.) is gecomponeerd, en om interessante en solide harmonieën te kunnen gebruiken in je eigen compositie/productie.

Het bestaat uit twee hoofdonderwerpen:

* Harmonie (akkoorden opbouwen, akkoordpatronen begrijpen, leren hoe je een bepaalde melodie kunt harmoniseren, de mogelijkheid om deze harmonieën in een bepaalde stijl te gebruiken, etc.).
Maar ook het begrijpen van tonaliteit, het opbouwen van een toonladder, het navigeren tussen verschillende toonsoorten en het omzetten van een klassieke akkoordprogressie naar een andere stijl?
Harmonie is een cursus die voor iedereen toegankelijk is, ongeacht niveau; er is geen voorkennis vereist. Elke gepassioneerde muzikant zal het de moeite waard vinden, gegarandeerd.

* Schrijven is een veel specifiekere cursus, die al een inleiding is tot klassieke compositie. In deze tak ontwikkelen we de regels van het klassieke schrijven (parallelle kwinten en octaven, valse relaties, enz.) binnen het kader van oefeningen gebaseerd op een gegeven melodie of bas (in het eerste geval is het nodig om de harmonisatie te bedenken en een bas te componeren; in het tweede geval is het nodig om de harmonisatie en de melodie te bedenken).

Deze cursus kan ook worden gevolgd door studenten aan academies of conservatoria die zich willen voorbereiden op het schrijfexamen, of gewoon hun kennis willen verdiepen.

I am a professional drummer, composer, and performer based in Brussels, with an active career in jazz, improvised, and creative music across Europe.

Whether your background is rock, pop, world, indie, or anything else, we focus on what serves your music, and on what learning this instrument can become. My goal is not to tell you strictly how things should be done, but to help you find your own way of doing them. To strengthen the musician that already exists inside you, and give you the tools to grow with confidence and independence.

I offer private drum lessons focused on long term development rather than isolated sessions. My work with students is based on regular weekly lessons, helping each drummer build solid technique, musical awareness, sound, and a personal voice in the instrument.

These lessons are for:
