My name is Ayman, I am a French Erasmus student here in Bologna and will teach you French or English according to your specific needs or simply help you enhance your fluency in either language.

The courses will be split in two parts : firstly a theoretical approach of grammar/vocabulary and useful sentences exemplified by an array of small exercises. Then a practical sum-up of what has been taught throughout the lesson.

This class is made for you if you are looking forward to learn a new language without pressure and while having fun !

Hi everyone !

I am a French Erasmus student here in Bologna, within the Civil Engineering department and learning Italian language at the same time aspiring to reach fluency in that beautiful language.

I love to travel and discover new cultures and people. I indeed lived in three different countries.

My name is Chiara, I'm a native Italian speaker, and I work as a freelance translator and interpreter. I have a Master's Degree in Specialised Translation.

I have been teaching Italian, French, Spanish, and English for over eight years to both adults and children.

In 2016/17, I worked as an Italian and Spanish teacher for adults at an Agency of the European Union while I was living in Strasbourg, France. In 2021, I expanded my experience and began working as an English teacher for primary school children of all ages at Educraft Language School in Bologna.

I fluently speak all four languages, and I use them in my everyday life since my clients come from all over Europe.

Of all the work experiences I have had, teaching children is definitely the one that satisfied me the most. I enjoy teaching bilingual children and helping them overcome the challenges that come with having a bilingual brain.
As a freelancer, I am very flexible in terms of working hours and can adapt to the student's needs and requests.

The first class we will have a conversation discussing your personal needs and will set up a plan of what you need. I have more than 5 years of experience when it comes to teaching English as a second language. My introduction to teaching was a volunteering project in a French high school, then it became my profession when I started working in a Hungarian language school. In the school I held business English and everyday English courses for all levels, mostly teaching small groups of adults. Apart from that, I also held private Hungarian and French lessons. Now I am working in a language school in Italy, as well as teaching online because I travel a lot, and working remotely allows me to keep doing what I love, from anywhere in the world.

When you become my student I will ask about your goals, assess your level, and recommend a course book based on your level and needs. In case you would only like to practice communication or wouldn't like to learn from a book, we can also simply talk and occassionally use some worksheets to make the lessons more varied and enjoyable. All my lessons are generally very communicative – I try to stay in the background and correct you when necessary, and guide you through the exercises instead of giving you the answers. From experience I know that real learning happens when you figure things out for yourself, and not when you are passively listening for your teacher's explanations.:)
