Toch bieden deze vakken meer inzicht en kunnen ze je ondersteunen in je latere carrière keuzes en je eigen inzicht over de wereld vergroten. Deze lessen zijn bedoeld als ondersteuning bij het studeren van vakken uit middelbaar. Als oud ASO student, kan ik mogelijks 'tips and tricks' geven die kunnen helpen bij het slagen van deze vakken.

Spanish is not only my mother tongue but also my passion. I would like you to discover with me the language, culture and gastronomy of Latin America. I give private, online or group classes of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). My classes are personalized and are created according to the needs of my students. I am fun, spontaneous and dynamic. My methodology is based on the communicative approach. However, I also apply other approaches depending on my students. I can also apply the Flipped-Classroom approach, learning by doing, among others. Everything will depend on the needs of my students. In addition, I use a variety of teaching materials. I help my students increase their vocabulary, improve their listening comprehension, refine their pronunciation through conversation and exercises adapted to their level. It should be noted that I speak other languages (English, German, French and some Chinese). This helps me to identify the common difficulties my students may have with their mother tongue. I offer Spanish classes for all levels (basic, intermediate and advanced). I studied with Professor Silvio Curto, a well known Egyptologist who was the Director of the Turin Museum for many years. Since my studies I have kept reading Egyptology texts and enriching my knowledge, my main interest and specialization being ancient Egyptian mythology, deities (and especially goddesses), as well as magic. 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢: Turin is the city in which I was born, raised and where I lived for a long time. This city is closely linked to ancient Egypt, since it houses the oldest Egyptian Museum worldwide, and still one of the most important collections in the world. In this course we are going to visit the Museo Egizio in Turin virtually, and we are going to read and discuss interesting texts written by Egyptologists, discussing many fascinating topics, such as ancient Egyptian magic, mythology, gods and goddesses, women in Ancient Egypt and many more. And if you visit Turin, a live lesson in the Egyptian Museum in the form of a guided visit can be arranged! Requirements: There are few specific prerequisites for this course, but students should have a good command of the English language, a genuine interest in attending the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, and a passion for studying. It is recommended that students have a very strong academic background, but a good academic background does not necessarily exclude the student from making a successful application. N.b. I cannot guarantee that you or your child will get accepted into Oxbridge (this is subjective and, every year, thousands of deserving students make unsuccessful attempts) but we'll work together to make sure you stand the greatest possible chance of making a successful application.
