Maths can be a very challenging and overwhelming subject. As a former secondary student I understand how difficult maths can be from year 7 all the way up to GSCEs. However, despite my struggle with maths, I was able to study effectively and hard enough to get a 9 at GSCE maths and I can help you do the same! However, even if you aren't currently in year 11 taking ur exams and rather just need a little extra help, you will be sufficiently aided in boosting your grades. The class will include going over questions together, explanations of concepts, exam style assessments etc. You will receive the techniques and questions that helped me achieve my grades at GCSEs.

As a current A Level english and maths student, I am here to share my knowledge with younger students. Only having completed my GCSE’s last year, I have a recent understanding of all topics and believe this makes me a great a candidate to help your child through exams. It may be hard to trust someone so young with your child’s education so I would like to provide some background about me. • In my GCSE’s, I got all A grades for maths and english. •At my school I am an english mentor in which I help younger students with their english GCSE’s. • I also work with children outside of school as a gymnastics coach.

I have just begun an MSc in Data Analytics and I am looking to tutor Maths not only to help support my studies but also to fulfil a long held desire of mine to help children learn Maths. I love Mathematics and have always had a desire to teach it and bring it alive to those either wanting to know more or to help those having difficulty bedding down some of the concepts. Having had some tutoring myself during my Physics A level I have first-hand experience seeing how much value the additional support of a Tutor can add to a student's existing classroom knowledge. From the perspective of a teacher / tutor - I have two younger half siblings that have had difficulty with Mathematics growing up but have always enjoyed sitting down and helping the grapple different topics they came across in various homework exercises. I find it hugely rewarding the moment you see concepts 'click' with those studying the topic. Although I have not formally worked in a tutoring capacity previously, I believe I possess a number of qualities which make me well suited to teaching Maths. My career path to date training to become an Actuary has seen me continue to use and develop my numeric knowledge, particular in the field of statistics. My roles in industry too have developed my communication. Working as an Investment Analyst in my first job particularly gave me the opportunity to improve explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences as I would often have communicate complex Investment Strategy options to the trustees of pension schemes, many of whom would not have a numerical background. Lastly, I think my personality lends itself well to tutoring. Those familiar with any of the 'colour profiling' personality evaluation exercises available might recognise me as an 'Earth Green' type. To those not familiar, the dominant traits that best describe an Earth green are patience, supportive and considerate - all of which I hope I can leverage to help students overcome any difficulties they are having with the topic. This class is to help students studying maths or further maths at all secondary levels up to A Level. It will aim to help you understand the key mathematical concepts you need to solve the problems presented in your course. I specialise in English and English Literature and can tutor at GCSE too and in KS2-3 Science too. Also, I can tutor in KS2-KS3 English/Grammar and creative writing texts and additionally English as a Foreign Language as I am a native English speaker.

I am a native Italian speaker who has experience in Italian tutoring and translation of Italian documents.
