In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.

I am a trained singer- songwriter & professional musician with a BA (hons) in Composition. Originally from london I moved to Brussels to do my masters degree. I am a trained singing with a level of grade 8, I have also spent the last 6 years touring as a front women and also a backing singing with various artists around europe, including 1 top 10 artist. I understand that although it's great to have a strong technique it's also about letting go and having confidence in your ability so you can relax in the moment. We will choose the repertoire according to the student's wishes - classical or popular music. Hello, I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer :) I’ve been training children and teens for 6 years, especially helping them with auditions and tests. I’ve been singing in theaters almost all my life since I started when I was just 8; nowadays I work as a professional mezzosoprano all around the world both in educational projects for kids and children and in big productions. I like teaching because I can share my experience with somebody that needs it and I always get to learn something from my pupils too: I swear teaching makes me a better singer.
