Hello! My name is Mary. :) I grew up in a family band, and have been playing multiple instruments since I was six. I fell in love with songwriting and performing throughout my youth, and became a full-time musician in my teens. I began teaching about four years ago, and this past year became part of a private tutoring company in Oregon, U.S. I love teaching, and sharing my excitement for music with others. I hope we get to spend some time together! With me as your tutor, you will learn how to hear different melodies and play them by ear. You will gain new excitement for music, and see it in a different light. I am not huge on teaching theory, as I like to help students to realize the music themselves, and learn to play well.
