I am a qualified and reliable English teacher, able to teach all abilities and ages from toddlers up to adults. My one on one lessons range from learning the alphabet and most importantly phonics for children, ranging up to grammar, context and advanced English skills in adults. I aim to keep students engaged but not overwhelmed. English lessons begin with a test adapted to get a feel for what level of English the student is currently working at. Resources will then be adapted to ensure we are making progress and continuing to learn at a high level which engages the student. I believe in being led by the student as much as leading the student. It is important students learn thoroughly rather than rushing important steps which can get forgotten. Younger years benefit from reading, word and sound games and extra resources where as adult classes can expect learning through reading, speaking, grammar and writing exercises - each lesson will be a mixture of all learning resources to ensure optimum engagement.
