This class is either for: 1) Students who are studying music for GCSE where djiing is a part of the course curriculum which we will go through in depth 2) Music lovers who want to learn how to use the decks. The focus is to cover the basics of djiing from understanding how the equipment and software works to mixing techniques and effects. Please note I'll be using a Traktor Kontrol S4 to teach. I am a DJ / music producer / journalist with over a decade of experience playing for brands from the World Economic Forum in Davos to Pacha Destino in Ibiza and the BBC in London.

This class is for aspiring music producers at the beginning of their journey. We'll explore the fundamentals of production from understanding your chosen genre, to navigating the software, learning how to record a basic beat, how to create melodies, sampling + creating an arrangement.
