My name is Alessio and I am an Italian professional double bass/bass player with degrees in classical and jazz. I've been living in the Netherlands for over 10 years and I have more than 15 years of professional "live music" experience, including teaching children and adults. I have always believed in the power of music to connect with others and forge relationships across linguistic and cultural boundaries. In my opinion, the music discipline is one of the best drivers for a student to learn deeply about themselves. In my lessons, we will make sure to cover many aspects of playing, from the physical approach to the instrument (especially important for double bass players) to the personal musical expression.
