These demanding foundations form the essential basis for all artistic expression: realistic, abstract, or digital. TARGET AUDIENCE -Beginners, Amateurs A step-by-step learning process to overcome apprehension and acquire a solid foundation for personal expression. Basic materials are provided to experiment and get started with confidence. -Art school students A complementary support to your course to fill the gaps in contemporary teaching and acquire the academic fundamentals that will give full visual force to your concepts and to enrich your diploma projects or your portfolio. -Digital Artists Come and unlock your technical levels in digital art through a rigorous relearning of traditional fundamentals: light, values, perspective and proportions. -Professional artists Consolidate and perfect your drawing and painting skills and applied guidance/masterclass to the realization of your artistic projects. CUSTOMIZED TEACHING METHODOLOGY (1-TO-1 COURSES) The teaching is strictly individual to guarantee progress at your own pace. My progressive, observation-based teaching method is a synthesis of my artistic, personal and professional experiences and the different teaching methods I have encountered, notably the Bargue academic method of the Paris school practiced from 1880 to 1950. Drawing and painting is about learning to look at reality, analyzing it and transcribing it from 3D to 2D. THE FUNDAMENTALS TAUGHT Form (overall vision, simplification through geometrization, measurement) Value (light analysis, volume rendering) Colour (perception, analysis and mixing) TECHNICAL LEARNING -Drawing and painting tools: lead pencil, charcoal, oil paint (colors, binders, mediums), acrylic paint. -The method: from sketch to finish, mastery of the limited palette, grisaille, and alla prima technique. -The subjects: still life, plaster model, live model, outdoor, and copies of masters. YOUR PROJECTS & PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT Depending on your level and needs, once the academic foundation has been validated or for already established artists, I offer three levels of intervention: 1. Regular Courses: Transmission of knowledge through theoretical and practical instruction. You practice and develop your eye in conjunction with your hand under my supervision. 2. Technical Coaching (Art Direction and Expert Advice): I act as an external consultant on your works in progress. Analysis of composition, color theory, choice of materials, assistance with research and validation of your processes. 3. The Project Masterclass: Technical demonstration and direct educational intervention on your artwork. THE LOCATIONS: ARTIST'S STUDIO in Montreuil / POCKET STUDIO in Paris 15th Lessons are given in my private 20m² studio, a 14-minute walk or 11-minute bus ride (Bus 122) from the Gallieni metro station - Line 3. It's a quiet workspace with a north-facing aspect, offering the constant and ideal natural light sought by painters.
