My name is William and I am offering 1-1 conversational English language tutoring aimed at people who wish to improve their confidence, pronunciation and expand their vocabulary or phrases in English. We can pick conversational areas that you wish to improve your confidence in; whether it’s discussing current affairs, preparing for an interview, or chatting about the weather. Perhaps you would like to improve your British pronunciation or phrases; we can work to get you speaking “the Queen’s English”! I can offer a remote consultation to identify your language goals and for you to get a feeling for whether working with me feels right. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to talk it through. I moved to Helsinki two and a half years ago to raise my children in its peaceful surroundings, and pursue a PhD. I love to meet new people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Professionally in the UK I was an Assistant Psychologist who worked with children and adults, and also in research. I have an MSc in Psychology and a BA in Philosophy. My passions are for History, Philosophy, Psychology, and current affairs; and of course my two children! I look forward to conversing and sharing your English journey with you.
