Hi! My name is Finlay.
I'm a 26 year old musician from Ireland.
I have been playing guitar for 12 years.
I offer classes for beginner and intermediate guitar players personalized to your tastes. I want to get people who are new or improving excited to play music and give them the skills to play the way they wish they could. The way I teach my class is by breaking down your favourite songs and helping you master the techniques used so you can use them yourself. The key to learning guitar is learning to play what you love.
I love playing music and helping others to enjoy it as well. I will design my classes to suit your tastes and goals.
I offer classes in English. I speak German but not enough to provide the best lessons I can.

My name is Finlay.
I am 26 years old from Ireland and have moved to Vienna to become a professional musician.
I have been playing music for 20 years and recording music myself for 7 years. Music is my passion, and i know now what it is that a beginning musician needs to know, and what i wish i knew when i was starting out!
I offer music production and recording lessons. This includes recording and production techniques, microphone placement and techniques, studio gear knowledge, how to use a professional production software, as well as broader music technology lessons.
I am happy to create personalised lessons based on whatever it is that you wish to know the most. We can discuss what it is that you want from this and we can go from there :)
All lessons are done at my home and I provide the tools needed to learn the basics.
I also offer guitar lessons if this is not exactly what you're looking for!

Guitar Classes (classical with nylon strings ; acoustic with steel strings ; and/or electric) in Vienna or online in various languages (ENG/GER/FRA/ESP)

Pedagogue with more than 10 years of experience in scholar and extracurricular contexts is offering his expertise as a guitar teacher for new interested students of all ages. Classes are held in person in Vienna's 3rd district, and can be of course prolonged into the school year.

My class is based on various but well structured classical methods, however Pop and modern music remains an important aspect of the learning process, so the various wishes and aspects of guitar playing can be achieved by beginners and advanced students. A vast well catered repertoire and personalized arrangements will be provided for each student individually.

Many groups projects with guitars as well as other music instruments were very successfully realized over the years, and many of my students have also succeeded in competitions and important (solo) performances.
Prep classes for competitions as well as entrance exams at music institutions are also very possible!

Every year there are two student concerts in a beautiful concert hall in the 3rd district (December and June)

Then you should try out my classes: I dont specialize in any specific style, but I grew to learn at least the basic tricks of the main styles (flamenco, blues, acoustic folk, electric pop, a bit of jazz)
It would truly be a pleasure to me to show you the keys about becoming a better guitar player, the details that make the difference. I can of course also show you how to play specific songs that you like, and how to slowly figure songs and melodies out by ear. If necessary I will correct your technique and show you how to maintain your guitar.

Hello! I am Edgar, violinist and music pedagogue with more than 4 years of experience in teaching violin, especially to young children and beginners. I currently study violin at the Richard Wagner Conservatory in Vienna and studied Music Pedagogy at the Australian Guild of Music Education. Hello!

I am Joan, a professional classical guitarist newly based in Vienna. I am from Barcelona, obtained a First Class Bachelor's degree in Music and a Master's degree in Performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, and I have now landed in Vienna, where I do a Postgraduate Certificate at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Prof. Alvaro Pierri. I am also an active performer, with more than 30 concerts a year across Europe, the USA and the UK.

Besides performing, I have been teaching for more than 10 years now. Last year as a Junior Fellow at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, but also privately, in music schools, conservatoires, primary and secondary schools and summer camps. Mainly 1 to 1 but very often ensembles, chamber music or orchestras.

I have always considered guiding people into learning music a central part of my passion and profession, and always put special attention to Pedagogy. I was lucky to have lessons with some of the world's best professionals like A. Pierri, D. Russell, R. Dyens, M. Barrueco, L. Brouwer, A. Vidovic...

I am now looking forward to connecting with new students here in Vienna or online!

I always try to explore what is the best way for each particular student to develop, so our lessons could take many different approaches.
