Dear music lovers,

I am a pianist and composer, graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris and currently a professor at the Conservatory.
I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all levels. I also offer lessons in writing (harmony, counterpoint, fugue), composition and improvisation to anyone who wants to discover, learn or improve in these different practices!

In a few words, what I can offer you:

Learning classical to contemporary music, current music
Improvisation alone or in pairs
Learning to read
solfège
Interpretation of works for 4 hands
Preparation for competitive exams, entry to music school/conservatory, concerts, etc.
Work on interpretation
Develop timbres to make the instrument sound in various ways
Learn to compose and develop musical ideas
Anatomical and postural explanations
Breathwork for acting and/or managing stage fright
Composition of pieces adapted to the student's level

Music is a precious art through which so many things, colors, and feelings can be expressed. It is thanks to it that I learned to know myself more deeply, to find a discipline that makes sense. I have acquired the certainty that everyone can gain beautiful experiences from it if they know what they can give for it.
In fact, my courses are built according to your needs and desires, for this we will first clarify your objectives and the time you wish to devote to them in order to determine the requirement cursor for our courses.
If you are looking for a teacher for your children, you are in the right place, I have a caring and yet ambitious approach as well as a great deal of experience with children from 4 to 18 years old. I have the art and the way of attracting students to the daily practice of the instrument: the vast majority of my students know how to read treble clef/bass clef and decipher a score at the end of their first year. Beginners are therefore obviously welcome, it is also possible to integrate a time of learning music theory during the piano lesson.

I come to your home from Collonge-Bellerive to Plainpalais.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument!
I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. My classes can also take the status of personal work support; in this case, students can obviously bring me their scores worked with their main teacher, or those they play in chamber music / orchestra.

In short: The violin is an art, it learns yes, but we play! :)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of Music Teacher. With more than twenty five years of experience in music education, performance, and artistic development, I bring a deep passion for teaching and a holistic approach to music as both a discipline and a form of personal expression.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, supporting them in building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and emotional connection to music. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that music education should inspire curiosity and joy, alongside structure, discipline, and artistic integrity.

In addition to my teaching work, I am an active musician whose compositions and performances have reached an international audience through platforms such as SoundCloud. Listener feedback consistently highlights the emotional depth, originality, and atmospheric quality of my music, often describing it as expressive, cinematic, and deeply moving. This ongoing interaction with a global audience enriches my teaching, allowing me to share real-world artistic experience with my students and encourage them to develop their own authentic musical voice.

I have also contributed to collaborative artistic projects, including volunteer work composing and creating music for the Geneva theatre production Monolog 2020. This experience strengthened my ability to work in interdisciplinary environments and deepened my understanding of how music supports storytelling, stage performance, and emotional expression.

I consider creativity an essential part of both my professional and personal life. Outside of music, I enjoy painting, which further develops my sense of color, form, and expression—elements that strongly influence my musical interpretation and teaching. I am also passionate about skiing, a sport that reflects values I bring into my work: focus, discipline, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions with confidence and calm.

Over the years, I have developed a flexible, student-centered teaching approach, adapting methods to individual learning styles and goals. My experience includes individual and group instruction, performance preparation, and long-term artistic mentoring. I value collaboration with colleagues, clear communication with students and parents, and continuous professional growth.

I would be honored to contribute my experience, creativity, and dedication to your institution. I am confident that my background as both a teacher and an active artist would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your educational environment.

Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my experience and teaching philosophy.

Yours sincerely,
Branislava

I offer recorder and/or music theory lessons, tailored to each student's needs. You can choose to focus on the instrument, deepen your musical understanding through music theory, or combine both for a comprehensive learning experience. For recorder, we work on breath control, fingering, articulation, posture, interpretation of early and contemporary repertoire, ornamentation, improvisation, and more. For music theory, I adapt my method to your level: reading notes and rhythms, listening skills, identifying intervals, fundamental harmonics, and understanding musical language. My approach is dynamic, supportive, and structured, always attentive to the student's pace and interests.

You want to get to know your voice, sing with your body, and understand how your voice works. Singing is an exciting playground. I invite you to explore, in a gentle and supportive space, to experience it and become familiar with your instrument.
I also provide you with the keys to understanding and reading sheet music so that you can read music or deepen your musical knowledge.
Finally, I'll give you some basic piano skills so I can accompany you if needed.

Back-to-school schedule open from August 17th — fixed weekly slots available

Regardless of their level, objective or age, I provide each of my students with a fully personalized approach.

Having started at the conservatory at the age of 7 and left 15 years later after training in instrumental performance, theory, singing, and harmony, I quickly began teaching. My journey took me from Toulouse to Brussels, then from Brussels to Paris, where I lived for 10 years. I accompanied singers and dancers, created shows, led workshops and choirs, and guided students from their first piece to their first competition.
Having always preferred to be on the sidelines rather than in front, teaching is a true path for me: I seek to transmit knowledge, find the right entry point, and see autonomy and confidence gradually emerge.

Recommendations from former students are available upon request.

My courses are aimed at children, teenagers and adults.
I believe in the importance of music theory, which represents the alphabet of every musician: ultimately, it's what will allow you to play anything you want, without a teacher, without memorizing, and... without YouTube ;)
I directly integrate musical training, rhythm and ear training into the course, so that you can immediately put what you learn into practice and understand its usefulness.
The repertoire is chosen together according to the ages, tastes and objectives of each person: classical, jazz, pop, variety, film music, piano-vocal accompaniment...

I travel to homes in Geneva and surrounding areas: Geneva centre, Eaux-Vives, Champel, Plainpalais, Carouge, Lancy, Onex, Cologny, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg, Thônex, Grand-Saconnex, Nations, Petit-Saconnex, Meyrin, Vernier, Versoix.
I can also travel occasionally to Nyon, Coppet, Gland, Rolle and La Côte if several courses are grouped together on the same half-day.
