The lessons focus on real-life situations such as daily conversations, travel, food ordering, and basic social interactions. Thai culture and common expressions are also introduced to help learners communicate naturally and confidently with native speakers.

This class is suitable for beginners and learners who want to improve their speaking and listening skills in Thai. No prior knowledge of Thai is required.

I have a master's degree in languages and am also studying to become a teacher. The lesson can be built up in consultation. It is possible to focus on speaking English instead of writing in this lesson, so that you quickly become a fluent language student. We can also focus further on a more school-oriented approach if you want to prepare for exams, for example.

I obtained a BA degree in English Language and Literature, as well as an English MA degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven. This academic background has laid the foundation for my theoretical knowledge of the English language, especially my reading and writing skills. Additionally, I spent a semester in Dublin in order to improve my 'hands-on' speaking skills. I have a genuine passion for the English language which I hope to pass on to my students.

For my classes, I sit down with students to discuss their needs, and attune my course content accordingly. I try to combine theory with practice to keep the classes interesting and lively. Listening and reading skills are especially important in the learning process as they are essential elements to developing an intuitive sense of a language. Furthermore, I attempt to incorporate audiovisual material in order to keep the course content engaging. I am also always happy to discuss and/or lend English books, graphic novels, podcasts, films, music, YouTube clips etc with/to my students.

Learn about the specific culture and the habits in Belgium: etiquette, politeness, making friends, hierarchy, food and drinks, arts, religion, job hunting, etc. Visit performances/events/exhibitions if interested, requested. Includes how to behave in various circumstances.

Japanese is a beautiful language brimming with culture, but unfortunately, it's also difficult to get started. If you're lost for the trees (or the kanji), or haven't even dared to try it yet, but have suddenly been bitten by the Japanese bug, then you've come to the right place.

I'll teach you the basics of Japanese and grow completely at your level. You'll receive customized learning materials, and I can provide homework assignments if needed. Once you've mastered the basics, we can expand to cultural nuances and more advanced language skills. You can also "request topics." Is there something specific you'd like to learn?
