I love teaching and working with children. They are such a pleasure and watching them develop socially, emotionally and academically is so rewarding to see.

Through delivering primary workshops surrounding careers education, I have been delighted by the curiosity, creativity and spark which young children bring. This insight has motivated me to look into primary education, so that I can make a direct impact in managing the excitement and passions of young people and encourage them to think more imaginatively and analytically of the world around them. Moreover, I understand that primary education lays the foundation for the mental, social, intellectual, and emotional development of child, and that if certain problems are handled appropriately at these early stages, they can be resolved effectively at their later stages.I would therefore love to tutor children.

Hello everyone,

I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years. Indeed, alongside my studies, I have always dedicated some of my time to tutor French/English/Dutch lessons to people of all ages.

My lessons are taught in a way as to encourage my students to live the language they want to learn. I give considerable importance to improving one's verbal abilities, and my lessons are structured as follows:

- Verbal Skills: Debate on any topic of the student's interest.

I specialise in tutoring children still in primary education. My lessons are designed to help children with subjects they may be struggling with or providing that extra extension! I have taught from Reception/Kindergarten up to Year 6; I was head of Maths and French as well as head of Year 3. I love the French language and pass this on to my students when I teach. Lots of speaking, listening to everyday conversations in various contexts, French songs, practising grammar and new vocabulary. Suitable for school children or adults.
English as a second language is another speciality of mine. I make my lessons interesting and fun. Speaking is the most important part but also writing notes as it is easier to remember afterwards. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered.
