African American History has a very specific place in World history and is, furthermore, tied into colonialism and the expression of African culture on the American scale. As America is, largely due to Americanization, the premier export of Black culture on a global scale, the importance of African American culture and history are currently at an all-time high.
The classes provided in this course will revolve around African American history and how it ties into colonialism, the suppression of additional minorities and the expressions of African American culture on a global scale.

When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones.
