I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. Hi there!

I am Salina and half Spanish and half American although I have lived all my life in the south of Spain, in Cádiz and Seville.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English to children and 2 years of experience teaching conversational English to adults. My classes focus on acquiring fluency when speaking, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary. If you are looking to learn grammar strictly, I'm afraid you'll have to look for another teacher!

I adapt the classes to what the student needs, looking for topics that are useful for him or her depending on the area in which they intend to speak the language. I use a lot of visual aids to make learning more interactive and dynamic.

A little more about myself: I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Seville and although it has little to do with languages, I am passionate about them! I speak Italian, which I learned during university and later living in Italy for a few months.
