Voor mijn lessen baseer ik me vooral op de boeken van Integrated Korean beginning 1&2 en videomateriaal om het wat af te wisselen. Naar mijn mening is het leren van grammatica en spreekvaardigheden het belangrijkste, maar indien er interesse is in bijvoorbeeld luistervaardigheid, leesvaardigheid, schrijfvaardigheid, ... kan hier ook zeker op geoefend worden.

Ik heb lessen Koreaans gevolgd aan de universiteit en heb een Postgraduate certificate in Korean Studies behaald. De moeilijkheden op deze "language learning journey" zijn me dus bekend, en dankzij deze ervaring weet ik hoe ik mijn leerlingen hierdoor heen kan loodsen.

De Aziatische cultuur heeft mij al van kindsbeen af geïnteresseerd, daarom heb ik ook besloten om hier mijn studierichting van te maken. Hallo, mijn naam in Lies (Liz) en ik kom uit België. Talen interesseren mij al sinds ik klein was, daarom wil ik van mijn interesses een baan maken. Met anderen delen wat je hebt geleerd en je kennis niet verloren laten gaan, is een van de meest bevredigende dingen die er zijn.

Ik heb een bachelordiploma Japanologie en een minor Koreastudies behaald. Op het eerste gezicht lijken Japans en Nederlands niet veel met elkaar gemeen te hebben, maar door zelf een taal te leren begrijp je het leerproces en de behoeften van de leerlingen. Ik geef vooral graag les aan mensen die geen voorkennis hebben van het Nederlands en leerlingen van de basisschool.

Momenteel werk ik als vertaler en docent op verschillende platforms. Tijdens mijn studententijd heb ik ook diverse banen gehad, waaronder het lesgeven aan mensen/kinderen in bepaalde vakken. Je ziet dat ik voldoende leservaring heb.

De materialen die ik gebruik voor mijn lessen worden ondersteund door de overheid. De taal die ik gebruik bij het lesgeven is meestal Engels of Nederlands. Ik concentreer me graag op de moedertaal die mijn leerlingen spreken en probeer vergelijkbare geluiden, woorden of grammatica te vinden tussen de originele taal en de doeltaal. Vanuit mijn ervaring merkte ik dat het mijn leerlingen echt helpt de betekenis van bepaalde zinnen of grammaticale structuren te begrijpen en dat hun uitspraak heel snel verbetert. Naar mijn mening is het praktische gedeelte belangrijker dan het theoretische gedeelte, daarom gebruik ik veel oefeningen in mijn lessen. Een taal leer je alleen door hem te gebruiken.

Als je bepaalde dingen hebt waar je aan wilt werken, of als je al enige kennis van het Nederlands hebt, kunnen we ons natuurlijk vooral op die dingen concentreren. Ik ben zeer flexibel. Maar het allerbelangrijkste is dat u geniet van uw taalleerreis. Hoe leuker je iets doet, hoe meer je je aangemoedigd voelt om nog beter te worden.

Ich habe in Deutschland Gesang studiert und daher war ich immer neugierig auf die Aussprache.
Mit dieser Erfahrung kann ich neben dem koreanischen Lernen Sie noch auf den richtigen Weg für koreanische Aussprache führen, denn ich habe viel daran gedacht, wo und wie bestimmte Klänge produziert werden.
