MajdaVoulez-vous parler la langue de Molière avec fluidité ? N'hésitez pas à me contacter !
BaşakTurkish Lessons (In-Person OR Online) for Adults and Kids from an Experienced and Patient Teacher For All Levels-Learn&Practice&Speak!
I have been teaching Turkish for 17 years. I started to teach when I was studying Turkish Language and Literature. I worked in a language school and at the universities, I suppose that I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. My students are mostly teachers, consulate officers, international business people, and also travelers. I feel rewarded when I witness their progress in applying their Turkish language skills to their daily lives. Over the years, I have met hundreds of people from all over the world, taught Turkish, and told them about Istanbul and Turkey. Those people told me about their countries and learned to express themselves in Turkish. For example, I ask them: “Do you like Istanbul?” in Turkish it is “İstanbul’u surveyor museum?” or “ Traffic is very bad in Istanbul!”, “İstanbul’ da çok Trafik var!” The basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish to become much easier, enjoyable, and practical for my students. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar. On the online lessons, I send an e-mail after every lesson. That word file includes a vocabulary list, sentences (corrected and uncorrected versions, you can compare both of them easily), grammar point,s and homework for revision. In this way, you can find everything in a file well organized. When we have a face to face lesson, I give a hard copy of this list after every lesson. The lessons could be at my home office or in my student's house or office. I sometimes meet with my students in a coffee shop, I try to prefer silent places. :) How learning a new language opens a new window into a person, teaching Turkish is also the same for me! I was always interested in languages - I could speak a bit of Italian and learned Persian grammar except English. I always think about Istanbul -I was born and grew up here- it is a good place for self-improvement. First and foremost, Istanbul hosts international people coming from around the world. It is considering to me, I am lucky because I have one of the pleasant professions. When teaching Turkish, promoting cross-cultural awareness forms an important part of my lessons. Teaching the language involves both the students and myself in a dynamic conversation about our cultural backgrounds. Teaching Turkish is in fact not only teaching a language but also teaching a culture. I am interested in cinema, music and like visiting museums. I always share the activities with my students. I also teach Turkish to young learners. I started to study Child Development at Istanbul University as a second university in 2018. We say in Turkish, “Studies have no age!" If you want to speak Turkish well, please contact me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!

Cristina CervellóSPANISH LESSONS FOR KIDS. PLAY & LEARN. Spanish for children.
I work with various materials created to meet the needs of each child; videos, music, games and stories. I do not use textbooks or exercises in which students have to mechanically repeat a certain model. The materials that I use in the classes are colorful, cared for and promote the autonomous learning that they will need in their future use outside the classroom. I believe that each student has his own learning rhythm and must be respected. With a good teacher everyone can reach their goal.

AkosKickstart your Korean! 1 to 1 tutoring online or in-person
여러분, 안녕하세요? 🇰🇷 Do you want to start learning Korean and do you want to do it in an organised way? 🇰🇷 Did you already get started on learning but you got stuck on a particular grammar? 🇰🇷 Are you aiming for a TOPIK 1-2 language exam and do you want to get prepared in as short and effective a time as possible? As a language tutor with over 10 years of didactic experience and a TOPIK level 5 language exam, I can help you overcome difficulties and reach your goals. My love with Korean language and culture started more than 10 years ago thanks to my amazing Korean friends that I made during my first exchange year in Japan. Fast forward to 2016, I spent one semester in Korea as part of my individual research trip abroad to collect materials for my PhD which later turned into another semester of working holiday as an English tutor. This year spent in Korea was my real motivation to start learning the language properly so that I could connect more to the locals. For me this was a very enjoyable, but at the same time challenging process. As a result, I can completely relate to your struggles. That is why I like to make sure that I teach my students in the way that I wish I had learned when I was a beginner. I can assist you with grammar, pronunciation, and script (but also hanja and cultural notes) up to a TOPIK level 1-2. If you have a favourite vlogger, comedian or song that you want to translate in class, that is also no problem: my classes are very open to your input to turn your progress into a really personal experience.
Justynapreparatory classes for IELTS / TOEFL / CAE / CPE exams
I graduated from the University of Athens where I attended courses in pedagogics, psychology, and linguistics. I worked at a language center between 2009-2016 where I was a director of studies and taught mainly English as a foreign/second language. Since 2005, when I first started teaching English, I have taught children and adults on a variety of language proficiency levels and with a variety of needs (general knowledge/terminology/for specific purposes), both individually and in groups. I constantly seek progress, meaning that I study further through reading books/articles concerning didactics/methodology and learning difficulties (chiefly dyslexia), observing other teachers as well as attending seminars (online or face-to-face). I will help you learn weird English spelling and pronunciation with fun. I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. During my lessons I use : - Skype/Whatsapp/Messenger to connect with you, - Google Docs to keep notes, which you can check at any time and they are yours to keep, - sketch board me to make mind maps to show connections between ideas, etc. - books, PPP, word docs, diagrams, pics, etc. - pronunciation/spelling/grammar games, - authentic materials were taken from websites. I adore my profession and desire each and every one of my students be satisfied with the lesson. That's why I make sure the atmosphere is stress-free and nice. I also want my lessons to be as effective and close to real-life needs as possible. Therefore, I make sure they are well-prepared, although they can be altered at any point, should such an opportunity arise. I like explaining things in a variety of ways as well as make use of dictionaries, diagrams, etc. When it comes to students who want to obtain certificates, I am very demanding. What can I teach? - I would love to help you improve/develop all language skills (speaking/writing-listening/reading + grammar/vocabulary/pronunciation), - I would love to help you prepare for certificates such as IELTS / TOEFL / CAE-ALCE / CPE-ECPE, - I would love to help you with homework and assignments (literature, history) from school and university (but please contact me about that IN ADVANCE).
KlaudiaScary class for adults with low-bandwidth contact, very flexible.
Ahoy! Thank you for wanting to practice, learn, read or prepare for exams in English. My name is Klaudia and I am an English freak / linguist. I have been teaching children, teens and adults for 5 years. 2016-2017 I had stayed in London where I learned my neutral accent. In 2019, I got TEFL 120h and from one year I teach professionally. Lessons are always tailored to what you need. I believe in individual attention. What interests you, we'll talk about it in English. I prepare for every lesson and expect the same from you, that's why I always send you emails or messages so that your English stays active in your head even outside of class. While class we use a number of assistance resources: handouts, interactive media web sites, games, music, comics, books, news and all. The biggest benefit of my approach is flexibility. I make slots to use in your calendar. The more you take a class, the faster you will see the progress. I think one lesson a week is fine, but one lesson every 2 weeks is an absolute minimum. Learn quickly when you want and enjoy using English. I prefer to teach online because of corona, but I will come to you up to 20 km from Amsterdam.

DariaTailor-made Russian Language Classes for All Levels
The Russian language proves to be very challenging for all speakers - even for those born in Russia. However, I have a demonstrated excellent knowledge of the normative literary Russian language thanks to my philological and pedagogical academic training. The major linguistic pair I work with is Russian - English (besides, it becomes helpful for the students when I also incorporate references to French or Dutch when needed). As an experienced private tutor and university teacher who understands the struggles of her students, I'm able to find a personal approach to each of them. Our linguistic classes will be enriched with background information about Russia, its history and culture, so that you become even more motivated to master this rich but complicated language. And once the "tough nut" is cracked - an amazing new universe will reveal itself for you :)
