As an experienced teacher, I have gained valuable experience leading discussion sections for colleagues whom I have been tutoring during their induction. In addition to classroom instruction, I have advised ﬁrst experienced teachers on appropriate research topics and edited and evaluated their work. Based on student evaluations and curricula and on what concern the professional role of a teacher speciﬁcally, I have earned the Master Certiﬁcate in Pedagogical related to Education. I am ﬁrmly dedicated to the education of the students as well as the relation between Teachers.
My training has covered a wide range of topics in the various education ﬁelds. My studies, had provided me with the opportunity to draw connections between the different value of curricula and to communicate difﬁcult concepts clearly to both students and adults of all levels and to use a wide range of didactic software and technologies. I am committed to an interdisciplinary approach to scholarship and teaching, and all of my classes are structured with this in mind.
I also have 15 years experience teaching English as a foreign Language to kids from 6 to 12.

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests, and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also, the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy.
I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
