Need a boost in languages? I am at your disposal for private lessons in Dutch and English. I was a scientific research assistant (in England and VUB) at the university for 10 years. Having lived abroad, I have good knowledge of languages and I have a certificate of educational aptitude. I propose an individualized pedagogy, a help with the preparation of interrogations or exams. I have a British accent, however, I am familiar with the nuances of other accents and spelling differences. I have a lot of experience in helping newcomers to the British accent understand the subtle pronunciation differences that will make it far easier for you to understand. I study in English in Brussels, but am originally from Flanders. Dutch is my native language and I am very experienced in the English language as well. Therefore, I would love to help you with your Dutch or English classes. I would be able to help you with homework, help you study for a text, or simply go over the things that are hard to understand. I would not give my own classes, but if the student mentions that something is difficult, I would be more than happy to explain it again until they understand. The duration of the class would also be up to the student, if it needs to be longer some days that would be no problem at all!

My Name is Maya. I’m 28 years old. I am recently graduated with a Masters degree in Human Ressources at ULB. I’ve completed my bachelor in Business Management in Beirut-Lebanon. My first language is Lebanese Arabic so I’m willing with pleasure to teach my native language. And because of my pregnancy I decided to stay home and teaching which is easier for me meanwhile. I adapt to all levels and offer to work both oral (expression and understanding) and writing (expression and understanding also). Emphasis and pronunciation are major axes to develop. The objective is to be comfortable in a maximum of subject and to be able to interact only in English as much as possible.

This class is designed for children who wish to learn either English or French while playing and experimenting with colours, shapes and texture. We will make large or small scale paintings, ceramics, lino cuts (for older children), silk painting, drawing, sculpture, plays, etc. The classes are for a minimum of two children and a maximum of four at a time and are suitable for all ages. The idea is to have fun while learning a new language. The material is included in the price.
