Would you like to learn violin in a fun and relaxed atmosphere? My name is Gabriela, I have 12 years of experience as a performing violinist and started with my teaching practice 3 years ago. Music is a wonderful way of bringing joy and people together. My goal is to give you the tools to share it with the people around you. In this class you will learn the basics of violin technique such as the correct body posture, violin hold and the grip of the bow. In combination with violin, a introduction to music theory will also be taught! A personalized plan can be made for each student according to their own musical taste, this could range from classical, film, folk, pop music and others. Students of all ages are welcomed!

I offer violin lessons for total beginners, beginners with couple months/years of playing and intermediate students.  I can also teach students who want to become a serious musicians or want to continue their path on conservatories, but only as an additional teacher. On lessons, students can play program chosen by their primary teacher or program, which is decided by me, based on their skills and wishes. We will work on classical pieces as well as some chamber music pieces, scales, technique exercises and themed pieces for holiday seasons. I try to put myself in the student's shoes and thus help him more easily. Every student is different, so I don't just force a certain way of teaching, I adapt according to wishes, personality, abilities and age. I believe in the power of good technique, so my students play scales, finger exercises and etudes. Depending on their level of playing, I choose a suitable program, which we prepare according to the student's best abilities. Despite all the things that are required of me, I expect work from my students and, above all,  joy in learning such a beautiful thing as music.

- About the course-- My method is to work the technique and the musicality at the beginning of the tastes of the student so that the objectives are always stimulating. I try to develop as quickly as possible to the students, that is to say to make them able to target their own difficulties and to invent the exercises to solve them. --About me-- I am a guitar teacher for over 15 years, privately, music school (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien) and internship (AKDT). I started the guitar 25 years ago and have never stopped. I went through all styles: from classical to pop songs and then to electric guitar: blues, rock and then jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian (with Osman Martins), gypsy music and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also versed in gypsy jazz. I can give classes of any level and any style. I give the theory in parallel of what is worked so that it enters in a passive way. I have experience with children as well as adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. My lessons are designed for people of all ages and levels . My goal is to help the students develop their abilities, create a functional violin technique and enjoy the music making process while adjusting to each individual. The lessons are conducted in English and Greek!

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Who is this workshop for? For anyone curious about sound, all music, music in general, who wants to manufacture, build, examine ... (from 12 or 13 years old). Do you need to know music theory? No. But familiarity with music of various styles can be of great help. DJ? "Electro" music? No ! We will not learn here to be a DJ or to compose “dance-music”, “electro” music in the commonly understood sense, not even songs. Do you need to know the computer? It is better if it is, but learning can be done at the same time as musical research. Is this course a software learning course? No. I give the basics (only on Logic Pro X or Garageband) to be able to compose but I do not teach the deep use of software. Is it necessary to have a computer? Yes ! A "workshop" rather than a class? The course takes the form of a practical workshop, listening sessions, criticism of works. By computer? Everything happens on a computer once sound elements of all kinds have been recorded. Editing, transformation, mixing on software designed for this. No software required. The proposed route can be adapted to any multitrack sequencing software. The computer is only a tool, it is the composer who makes the music. Practically what do we do? The composer works “from the sounds” that he has most often recorded himself. He chooses them, assembles them, deforms them, mixes them according to his project, at will. of his intuition, his ideas and desires, gradually builds a music. For those who wish and need it, exercises are offered which allow to approach at the same time techniques of realization and precise musical proposals. Composition / Invention It is not a question of declaring themselves all composers, but of affirming that we can all ask ourselves composers' questions, with both seriousness and imagination. To confront the game of a free invention. What musical orientation? What style ? This is a “musical research” process: seek to invent a music beyond traditional values - note pitches, regular pulsations, instrumental timbres - without forbidding all that. A “music of sounds”, in the broadest possible sense, a “music of all sounds “as opposed to what one could obviously call too simplified“ a music of notes ”. I'm a french professional violinist established in Berlin, I'm currently member of the academy of the Radio Orchestra in Berlin and graduated from the Universität der Künste Berlin, Hight school of Music Geneva and Lyon I give violin lessons at home, for students of all levels and ages. I constantly adapt my teaching according to the expectations and objectives of the student, so the technical work that allows to acquire a better ease with the instrument will always be directed towards a musical research and the pleasure of playing music I can also give some basics of music theory, included in a violin class. These courses can be part of the schema of a regular apprenticeship or of one-off sessions (preparation of an exam, support in the personal work of a pupil of a musical institution ...) I consider teaching to be an essential aspect of a musician's life, in order to pass on one's knowledge and passion with pleasure. I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist 12 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. For example, in the last year my students have achieved highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in various competitions. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
