Drum Teacher, How to be a good band member, Musicianship and listening skills.

Drumming is a powerful experience for all ages and music levels even if you play a melodic instrument. I have designed a learning programme suitable for a wide variety of music needs and aims. I have a long experience teaching, performing, recording and producing music that have let me explore melodic instruments like keyboards, guitar, and bass. It has given to me a broad musical approach to the drums with a ensemble situation perspective.

This class is for drummers who want to be part of a music project or want to improve their ensemble music skils. All the levels. Children from 7 to 80 welcome.

Pianist - Keyboard player

As a beginner or intermediate piano player you will learn to play in in a wide range of (classical) music genres varying from composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Beethoven, Yann Tiersen and many more.

You will learn the right finger techniques for learning to wheel an Keyboard and a Piano accurately.

You will be prepared for your further musical development

You will receive appropriate tasks and piano assignments to practice

You will learn how to make your own piano compositions from scratch.

You can give content to your own lessons by deciding what kind off songs you would like to learn how to play.

Music producer - music production

As a beginner in music production you will learn how to produce electronic music independently using a home studio using accessible, low-cost technology, such as MIDI instruments and VSTs, to create musical ideas for yourself but also local and undiscovered talent.

You will learn mixed methods to write and record songs, make beats and mix them.

You will get an introduction to a variety of music software programs for music production such as Ableton Live, Garageband and Logic Pro X.

You will learn how to put down tracks overdubbed mixed, record songs and mix songs.

Developed production process improvements by implementing innovative sound techniques.

I am a working musician, recording artist, composer and performer based in London.

Apart from having years of experience with performing and recording, I've also taught drum lessons since I was 16 years old.
One of my favorite things about my job is witnessing my students getting hooked on the instrument and seeing that spark ignite! I'm very eager to let my students succeed in whatever they want to accomplish and find out the best approach to do so for each individual.

A few accomplishments and notable remarks:

- I'm able to teach you every popular genre: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Hip Hop, Electronic etc.
- Honours degree in Performing arts (drums)
- Extra degree in pedagogy
- DBS certified
- Over 6 years of teaching experience
- Able to speak English, Dutch and German
- Experience in teaching children and adults
- Very flexible, professional and kind hearted
- Professional musician: a lot of direct experience in the music industry in London, having experienced touring, recording at Abbey Road Studios, record label deals and more..
