I help pupils who struggle at school, I help those with Special Educational Needs like, Dyslexia and ADHD. I can help with reading, spelling, writing in younger pupils and in older pupils I help with their literacy skills like essay writing. Some pupils need help with their Executive Functioning Skills like planning, organisation, time management and task initiation. I also help pupils with study skills like preparing for exams. Additionally I teach English as a second language.

I have 16 years experience of teaching Learning Support and English and I am a qualified SpLD teacher and CELTA teacher.

My goal is to teach younger children/students the correct way of the English language. I have had precious experience with tutoring while I lived in Germany. During my time in tutoring,I learnt that children tend to learn faster and easier when enjoying a lesson. I therefore try to keep my lessons fun and exciting but of course, effective. My lessons included tasks like word puzzles, role play, quizzes etc. I provide worksheets, but I am open to helping out with homework they received from school or anything they are having problems with. At the end of every few lessons, I like to give a small exam on what was learnt the past few hours. Just to see what can be improved or What has already become a plus.

With over 12 years of experience in tutoring Maths and English at different levels, my primary objective is to ensure that you not only grasp the material but also find it enjoyable and understand its practical applications.
