Présentation

As a teacher, my main focus is on the needs of every student. We are all unique and have our own potentials and goals. Thus, teaching should be flexible and adaptable so everyone can achieve the best they can. whatever the age and the level is, music should be part of our lives, because it can be very beneficial for us!

Education

My musical education started at the age of 7 when I first began the piano. Later, I also started having some private violin lesson at the age of 9 which continued until the age of 15. Around 2016, I joined the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra where I was playing as a tutti player and then principal viola for four years. Currently, I am at my 3rd year Bachelor, in the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague, where I am also doing my minor in Education.

My experience in teaching started a few years back when for a couple of years I was teaching a young girl the piano. Currently, I am teaching two young adults, as part of my educational curriculum.

I am a young, dynamic, and qualified teacher (Master in Music pedagogy & Master in Performance) giving:
Violin lessons for beginners and advanced students, adults, and children as early as age 4.

I love to play and to teach my instrument. I play in different Orchestras, classical chamber music, and I improvise in contemporary music with body movement. I worked a lot on the body position while playing, which I think is very important in order to release tension in the muscles and feel freer with the instrument.
I am very excited to share the knowledge I have with my instrument with you!

I am a qualified concert violinist conductor, composer, musicologist, professor (PhD), and teacher, with professional orchestral training, and outstanding pedagogical results. I provide:
- Instrumental technique and vast repertoire: classical music, jazz, traditional; orchestra, and soloist music.
- A playful, highly effective method for beginners;
- A highly performant method for intermediate and advanced music students (instrumental music and theoretical subjects).
- Chamber music coaching, historical performance, composition, harmony, stylistic analysis; ABRSM and TRINITY international examinations; Music theory - from beginners to advanced/university level; GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels. My students, many admitted to the most prestigious Music Conservatoires, Colleges, and Universities, are known as high scorers in all above mentioned international exams, as well as in International Music Competitions.
- My lessons are challenging - in a positive sense, fun, and highly effective.
- I use cutting-edge teaching methods and out-of-the-box, creative, and effective learning approaches.
- I assign personalized and well-designed practice plans after each lesson and I provide periodic progress reports.
- I build a good rapport with students of all ages and, above all, raise their musical enjoyment.

I graduated 2 years ago at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I offer both violin and viola lessons to all ages and levels in The Hague and surroundings.
I am originally Spanish but I can teach in English and French as well.
I can teach at home or at any other different location.

The ability to improvise is not a natural skill that we are born with.
It is an understandable chain of tools that can be learned and practiced into performance. Improvisation is something that requires discipline as much as freedom, and in fact, it stems from the understanding of sounds, the music's natural grammar.

Violin is mostly seen as a melodic instrument but it can be otherwise. Outside of the classical world, rhythm reigns and the violin can be a leading rhythmical instrument too, providing solid grooves and accompaniments or challenging your fellow musicians with percussive sounds.

Furthermore, to be proficient in specific styles, it is not enough to just play scales and patterns but it is necessary to learn the colors of the proper harmonical framework which is part of an idiom.

In 10 years of teaching, I developed an approach that rethinks the function of fingerboard visualization allowing you to transpose in any key with great facility and to understand the logic behind the shapes of any chord on the fingerboard.

In these lessons, I will help you to rethink the violin out of the box, as a powerful rhythmical and harmonical instrument while deepening your melodic ability (soloing) related to the styles you want to play: Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Pop, Rock, Brazilian, World Music. [According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects]

This class is designed for musicians who already know the basics of violin techniques but addresses both beginner and advanced players in relation to the field of improvised music.

The lessons will be custom made for each student. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more.
Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together!

I can teach in English (fluent), Portuguese (fluent), Spanish (fluent) or French (basic).

I am teaching all levels, all ages, all kind of stile on the violin or viola. Of course mostly classical, but if you wish we can also play folk, pop or other kind of songs.

We can focus on playing, on musicality, technical skills, chamber music, as you wish.

We could also do general music education, or basic practical musical skills and training the ears.

I don't use one specific method since I feel every person function differently I i like to design something personal what works the best.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.
