I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA, and I've recently relocated from London to Barcelona. Mathematics has always been a huge passion of mine and I have found it helps in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These skills are crucial in building confidence and nurturing creativity in students (I even use math to create music!). I enjoy teaching various math topics, such as algebra, geometry, ratio and proportion, probability, and trigonometry, among others. I'm also equipped to assist students in preparing for 11+, 13+, GCSE, and IB exams. In addition to being a math tutor, I also have a certificate in TEFL. This has enabled me to design my lessons in a way that is more engaging and effective for students of all ages. Having lived in five different countries, including the UK, Belgium, USA, India, and Spain, I bring a diverse perspective to my teaching. I like to adapt the classes to what works for each student, I am open to different methodologies and ideas from the students themselves. I personally believe that math is learned by understanding it and being able to visualize it, and is remembered by practicing what we have just learned. This structure I try to present in my way of teaching.

I have been tutoring kids in A-level Statistics for several years now. Having completed A-level Statistics myself and studied it as my degree at LSE, London, I have developed a strong passion for this subject. Over the past two years, I have been assisting kids with their A-level Statistics exams. Based on individual needs, our sessions can involve reviewing school materials, working on homework together, or focusing on exam preparation. Hello! I'm Ariadna, a student of International Business and Marketing at UPF. I finished ESO and social baccalaureate with an average greater than 9. For more than 5 years I have been giving private lessons to primary, ESO and high school students. From general school support such as classes of subjects such as: mathematics, economics, business and English. I also help my high school students to prepare for the selectivity in these subjects. Regarding English, I have a C1 level certified by Cambridge, in addition to that I have spent 3 years studying 100% in English, which has helped me to gain maximum fluency and understanding in the language. As an experienced and qualified teacher of Science, Maths, and English I offer two different sets of classes. I have taught in high schools in Ireland for three years and before that I completed a degree in Medicinal Chemistry. English as Second Language Learning another language is a difficult process and at different times your needs will vary. At times more focus on grammar and vocabulary is needed to help you reach the next level of understanding. At other times a focus on pronunciation and conversation is needed to enhance your fluency. At this class the teaching will be adaptive to your needs and we can set common goals together. Science and Maths Preparing to undergo exams can be daunting and it is much better to keep up with your class as opposed to falling behind and trying to catch up while under pressure right before your exam. In this class we will go over what you are learning at the minute on your course as well as looking forward to the next topics so that you are prepared when your teacher introduces it in class. This will avoid feeling lost moment that happens when new topics are introduced and will help you get the most out of your teachers instructions.

In order to be able to adapt to changes in the world, it is important to know how to express yourself. The basis of the expression begins with knowledge of a language. That said, English being the most widely used language in the world, it is important to know how to express yourself in order to adapt to globalization. As for French, less spoken on a global scale compared to English, it is gaining its importance in the professional and academic world.
