I am a patient teacher who enjoys building confidence in English. I have a degree in English Literature and have a good grasp of English Grammar.

I work with each pupil, tailoring to their needs. I am keen to teach someone who is committee to improving and as such is willing to work hard and regularly. I do set small challenges for homework to encourage learning in between lessons.

Therefore, speaking, pronunciation, and everything related to the phonological aspect of languages is my interest.

Additionally, I would like to outstand the fact that I always work with clear purposes and organized lesson plans, and usually I create my own material in order to achieve specific purposes during the lesson, and because this allows me to be creative and accommodate any topic to your needs and interests.

Currently a third year student at University College London in Economics with a double bachelor with Sciences Po Paris in Economics & Societies, I give private tutoring at all levels, from primary to final (economic and social sections).
Having lived eight years in the United Kingdom and bilingual in Spanish (validated C2 level), I can easily give private language lessons. Bachelor ES series having obtained the congratulations of the jury, I am also available for any type of support in literary and mathematical subjects.
I have been doing tutoring for three years now, experience having taught me to adapt to all types of students.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course).

As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

I am fluent in French Spanish and English having done all 3 at a high university standard I am confident in my ability to prepare students for a GCSE or A-level. No matter the students level I’m a hard-working and commuted tutor and guarantee bumping up a student’s grade to a desired level.
