In September 2023, I won 2nd prize at the Gazzelloni International Flute Competition, and from August 2024, I am part of the La Monnaie / De Munt Academy and the Belgian National Orchestra, with whom I will perform several concerts during the 2024/2025 season.

A brief overview of my teaching experience:
- From December 2023 to April 2024, I completed 90 hours of internship at the music academies of Braine L'Alleud and Auderghem.
- Since September 2022, I have been teaching flute at the European School of Brussels.
- From 2021 to 2022, I taught flute, music initiation, and piano at a private music school in Waterloo.
- In July 2020, I obtained my teaching qualification in Italy by earning the 24 CFU credits required for teaching in Pedagogy, Learning Psychology, and Evaluation Methods and Techniques.
- From 2015 to 2017, I assisted my former professor Vincenzo Gallo at the "G. Nicolini" Conservatory of Piacenza for 2 years as a class tutor.

Over
I am a very patience, kind and creative person.

My teaching method is based on my experience and knowledge acquired in 13 years of study and research. I base my playing and teaching on the reknown methods of Marcel Moyse, Trevor Wye,Peter Lukas Graf, Giampaolo Pretto. I strongly believe that a varied technique routine along with creativity, curiosity and research on classical music and flute repertoire is all what needed to become a good musician and to enjoy playing the flute.
Opleiding
After having completed my musical studies and obtained my degree in Italy, in 2017 I moved to Brussels to keep studying in a more international enviroment.
After one semester in Erasmus in Germany, where I could study under the guide of flutist Ms. Gaby Pas-Van Riet, I am actually enrolled at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels as a Master student in the class of Mr. Carlos Bruneel.
Leservaring
Before moving to Belgium, I was for 2 years assistant of my former Italian flute teacher at "Conservatorio G. Nicolini" of Piacenza, where I had the opportunity to teach to younger beginner flutist.

Anaïs
Graduated for 5 years from the Royal Conservatory of Mons, having done many Master Classes and an Erasmus in Vienna, I continue to improve with a great virtuoso (1st prize of the Queen Elisabeth Competition) at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels to be able to better help my students. My courses are aimed at children as well as adults or seniors. The concept is based on learning in joy and good humor. I listen to each of my students to best meet his needs. One can as well work pieces of classical music as varieties ,. Some students come with songs they dreamed of playing, so we work together. I like to gather all my students twice a year so that they have the opportunity to show their work in public. This concert is always followed by the glass of friendship.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION from parents:

"Having Anaïs as my children's piano teacher, I can testify to her remarkable pedagogical skills associated with a high pianistic talent. The quality of her contact with the children is such that they leave courses always highly motivated. new ideas, interesting pieces, and appreciated by the children! Anaïs also makes a point of honor to what they learn in the good mood, while not neglecting the rigor, key element in the piano learning. "

"We are the parents of Olivia and Victoria H ....
Anaïs follows our children aged 9 and 11 in learning a musical instrument, namely the piano. For 2 years, she supervises them every week with motivation, availability and professionalism. In addition to her professional skills, she is lively, spontaneous and enthusiastic. The progress of our children is impressive and we can only strongly recommend the services of Anaïs "

"My son is dyspraxic, which means that he has difficulties in motor coordination (making a shoelace or buttoning a shirt are, for example, difficult activities)." Despite this, Anaïs managed to make her reach a respectable level, to which besides, I did not expect it, I think that these advances are due to the good balance that Anaïs introduces between musical rigor and educational flexibility. "

"For 2 years, my daughter Louise, 11, has been studying piano and solfege with Anaïs, and I attend every week and feel very sincerely that her method and pedagogy are excellent. Anais sometimes needed with my daughter.
I can only encourage you to contact her. "

"My two children are taking piano lessons at Anaïs, and I am delighted with the quality of the classes she offers and the excellent pedagogy that inspires her.
Indeed, Anaïs offers a rigorous and enthusiastic apprenticeship to introduce young people to the piano.
It regularly organizes concerts that aim to bring together students of all ages and levels and build confidence in front of an audience.
I highly recommend the passionate and motivating pedagogy of Anaïs. "

"Anaïs is a very professional person and she is very good at making Louise progress through her patience, availability and good mood." Louise goes to her piano lessons enthusiastically every week, so we can only strongly recommend the services of Anaïs "

Have you ever seen a saxophone and wondered how it feels to play it? It’s never too late to start! I will help you get started with the instrument. Do you already know how the instrument works? Great! Let’s take it to another level!

I have plenty of study method books with a big range of different styles, we will find the ones that you enjoy the most and suit you better and combine it in the right way, to help you improve. Plus work on any music that you personally want to learn, name any song and I will help you learn how to play it!

I myself had amazing and terrible music teachers during my learning process and believe me, I know what a difference makes... To really enjoy learning music or just to feel a ‘must study’, is the difference between ‘...I have to’ or ‘I want to!’.

I finished a Bachelor and a Master's degree in the Music Conservatory (The Hague) and then spent five years in the jazz scene in New York City, which gave me a very wide experience. Whether you are a beginner or preparing to enter a Music Conservatory, I can help you.

Classes description:

I have different study books we can use depending on the level, Wastall, Klose, Voxman, classic duets, jazz duets, Rubank, Horen, Lezen & Spelen, etc.... Plus I can write for you the songs you want to learn. If you have specific needs of topics to learn I will adapt the lesson and material to it. If what you want is to start or develop further in jazz music and/or improvisation, I’m definitely ready to help you!

Beginners:
Start finding the sound of the instrument, where the notes are within all those keys, begin with learning how to read music if you don’t read yet, and find easy and fun songs to play to enjoy the instrument already. I can introduce you to the understanding of basic harmony and theory concepts to help understand better inside music that you are playing.

Intermediate:
We can get to improve the technique of the instrument, reading skills, get more precision, speed, sound and timing and musical expression. Advance the understanding of harmony, its beauty and its possibilities. If you like to work on improvisation we can get to discover how to enjoy improvising with all the technical tools you already learned in the past and enhance that material according to your taste. If you want to start with playing jazz music I can introduce you to first steps and nice and technically comfortable songs to begin with.

Advanced:
At an advanced level it’s very important to understand the direction you want to take and what you especially want to improve. However I can help you perfectionate sound and timing, rhythm, vibrato, etc..., work on the accuracy of the reading and at the same time make it sound musical and human. On jazz music and/or improvisation, expand the vocabulary for improvising, the knowledge of harmony, what you can do with the material you know from different perspectives, increase precision and sense of direction when phrasing lines, learn more jazz standards, help on original compositions. And of course share all the better understanding of jazz music I learned during my years in New York City.
