Hi! I'm Martin. I taught music technology at university level for 24 years, and used PureData (PD) for most of that time. I have taught many classes using PureData (signal processing, composition, etc) and have used it for many projects.

Whatever level of experience you have with PureData, I can tailor the teaching to focus on your needs and your prior knowledge, and help you achieve the results that you want.

You need to have a computer capable of running PureData. Any reasonably recent Mac, Windows or Linux computer will work. An audio interface (built-in sound, e.g. on a laptop) will be useful.

Studio Recording techniques for popular music (rock, indie, metal, jazz)

I will teach you the workflows and practices of studio recording.

- recording drums (full drum kit) (minimum three hour lesson)
- recording vocals
- recording electric guitar

This is taking place in a real recording studio, and all equipment is provided in situ.

Your recording session will be recorded in Logic Pro X or Ableton Live 11.

The class will be tailored to your needs and your level of prior knowledge.
