In the social media era we are living in, young people often loose contact with the cultural environment. As young passionate, my goal is to transmit the passion towards arts, history and music, and especially to make the most profound aspects of Italian culture known to the world. This multicultural approach is what I've learnt during my philosophy studies, which allowed me to understand the world where we live from different points of view, particularly regarding thinking and art sphere.

You will learn how to interact in Italian with people, have a "street" conversation or a professional one, and use Italian in any field.
This class is for only interested sutendts who wants a good exchange and experience with an Italian mother language teacher who promise them they will enjoy the class.

For the basic levels we start from the very first forms of conversation and speaking exercise, such as self presentation, describing an object or talking about one's hobbies or favourite book, with the grammar and vocabulary involved.

Once the student acquires a primary familiarity with the language, I ́d let the student keep training with more speaking exercises, first with communicative situations in which we come across daily like ordering something in a bar, asking for directions or organizing a weekend out ́til he/she ́ll able to express his/her opinion and to have pure and free conversation on various topics, such as nature, technology, the academic and working world, telling about his/her travels or even on actual world news.

On request I can even provide material on our funny dialectal forms, different from region to region :)

I am an Italian master student in general and comparative literature at the Free University of Berlin. I have been living in Berlin for three years and I have a Bachelor degree in Italian and German between the Universities of Florence and Bonn.

My teaching method is based on your needs. It can be in both English and German. Together we will find out which strategy is best for learning Italian, be it with the help of an interactive teaching method (e.g. excerpts from films, poems, newspaper articles and songs) or with traditional help with homework.

I give French lessons and suggest that you work on writing as well as speaking, finding the tools that suit you best and adapting to your level. I have grammar textbooks and many books in French for beginners that I can lend you. I also offer a support course in French literature which can go hand in hand with the language course if you wish. I am a master of Modern Languages and Letters and studied in preparatory literary class for three years, so I acquired a deep knowledge of the French language and literature. In addition, I studied German (level C1) and speak it fluently today, as well as English. I look forward to meeting you!

German: even if it is your mother tongue, some rules have to be learned first. But it's worth it, because your language becomes richer and you can express yourself better and better.

If German is your foreign language, I will also help you to get to know and internalize the various rules.

In both cases, we start by looking at where you stand, where you have some catching up to do and where I see the focus. We'll talk a lot, because language practice is the best way to learn. I attach great importance to correct pronunciation, which is especially important for foreigners / non-native speakers.
We can vary the topics so that you can learn something besides the language.
