Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano/Music lessons for all ages

Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian and I am a jazz piano player and singer, I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I'm doing my Master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give piano jazz/pop/classical piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give to the student a general underestanding of the music in order to approach every style and to have fun with music! I really love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, selfe-confidence, trust, communication, collaboration, all through the music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. I believe in it.
I offer live and online lessons:

Very nice
Nice teacher nice course!
Enjoyed the lesson! Looking forward to the next one :)
Great teacher! A holistic approach with lessons covering everything from the music theory, through the technique and up to the practice and exercise. I've started taking those lessons with little self-thought experience and just after few of them I can already see a big improvement in the way I play as well as in my understanding of the instrument itself. Very much recommended!
Federica immediately spotted my weak sides at playing piano and she knew what I can do to improve. I am happy with the lesson I had. After a couple of days I was already playing much better and with a goal in mind. Looking forward to the next lesson.

Seen Tung
Piano/Music theory/Composition & Arranging lessons tailored to your needs and wishes
Hello, this is Seen! I am a pianist, composer and arranger from Hong Kong, currently studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I am offering piano and music theory lessons tailored to your needs and wishes. Perhaps you are an enthusiastic adult beginner, or you want to pick it up again after not touching the instrument for some time? Or perhaps you are looking for a teacher for your child? I have been giving music lessons for the past 9 years to students at different levels aging from 5 to 60. I understand that we all approach music in various ways and everyone needs different styles of guidance. I am looking forward to getting to know you and experiment with how I can help you along the way. Perhaps you want to play pieces from the classical repertoire? Or perhaps you want to acquire the skill of learning your favourite pop songs by ear, or learn to read lead sheets and chord symbols? Perhaps you want to learn to accompany yourself singing? Perhaps you want to learn improvisation over chord progressions? As a musician grew up with classical music training and later moved on to explore jazz and pop, I enjoy helping you to deepen your understanding about different styles and to have fun with playing! Perhaps you’ve always wanted to improve your piano technique, but get turned off by studies and scale practice? Perhaps you wish to acquire a stronger sense of rhythm or a more sophisticated control of sound? In my experience, advanced technique comes along with a tension-free body and mental space, and we can work on that together. I also find creating unique musical exercises that adapts to students’ needs makes the learning process more enjoyable. Perhaps you would love to integrate music into your daily life, but find it challenging to keep the momentum and interest in a long term? I try to structure our lessons so that students can see steady progress. I also understand that incorporating a habit can be a tricky part, so we can also develop study and practice plans together and explore ways to make your practice time more efficient. Perhaps you not only want to learn the instrument, but are also interested about the theories behind the music? Perhaps you want to learn some basic arranging skills and write for an ensemble that you play with? Perhaps you want to try composing your own music? As a composer and arranger, I would also love to share my experience on these subjects with you. Music is an enormous universe and there are always new territories to explore. I’m still a student on this journey, and I’m more than excited to share my experience and accompany you on your way!

Piano, Keyboard, Harpsichord Lessons; Solfège and Music Theory
Music has always been one of the central pillars of human expression, whichever the medium or style. I believe any student's goals and needs can be fulfilled in an interesting and efficient way with the right approach. On my lessons, I usually focus on the Baroque repertoire and Styles to nurture and develop the student's inherent musical skills, but other styles are also welcome, ultimately the material covered in lesson depends on the student's own curiosity and preferences.
