Wil je de blues leren spelen of je kennis verder uitbreiden dan ben je bij mij aan het juiste adres. De lessen worden gegeven in een relaxte doch serieuze setting. Ik heb meer affiniteit met traditionele blues dan blues rock. Je hoeft niet per se noten te kunnen lezen, zowel voor gitaar als piano. Ik kan je wel (de basiselementen van) bladmuziek leren lezen op piano en het tabulatuur systeem voor de gitaar uitleggen. Je hoeft van mij zeker niet religieus de notenbalk te volgen, het juiste gevoel vinden en ook proberen te improviseren zijn belangrijker en staan centraal. Herken en begrijp de blues schema’s; 8 bar, 12 bar, 16 bar, ragtime blues en al zijn variaties.

Voor iedere leerling persoonlijk wordt er een geschikte planning gemaakt.
Ik kijk wat het best werkt voor jou als individu en stippel daar in overleg met de student het lesplan op uit. Kies bijvoorbeeld zelf de nummers die je wilt spelen en welke technieken je zou willen leren/verbeteren. Ik weet dan ook welk instructiemateriaal het meest passend is voor jou en kan putten uit een behoorlijke blues bibliotheek, zowel in een boek, audio en video format.

Akoestische Gitaar Blues

Fingerstyle, Travis picking, monotone bas, speel tegelijkertijd een baslijn en melodienoten, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, double stops, heel damping, spelen met een duimplectrum en capo, beheers de country blues posities (C, D, E, G, A) en eventueel alternatieve stemmingen (bijvoorbeeld Vestapol en Drop D).

Leer spelen in de stijl van Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Blind Boy Fuller, Charley Patton, Brownie McGhee, Robert Johnson, Mance Lipscomb et cetera.

Elektrische Gitaar Blues

Pentatonische ladders, blues ladders, blues boxes, blues chords/rhythms/licks/trills/riffs/turnarounds, phrasing, call and response, bending, vibrato, timing, dynamiek.

Leer spelen in de stijl van B.B. King, Albert King, Freddie King, Otis Rush, T-Bone Walker, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Michael Bloomfield et cetera.

Piano Blues

Linkerhand patronen (eight to the bar, shuffles, lopende bas, klimmen en dalen), tremolos, rolls, grace noten, drone noten, intros en outros, breaks, crossovers, comping, arpeggios, octaven, intervals (thirds en sixths), blues akkoorden (6, 7 en 9) en zijn inversies.

Leer spelen in de stijl van Otis Spann, Memphis Slim, Big Maceo, Champion Jack Dupree, Pete Johnson, Albert Ammons, Dr. John et cetera.

Voor zowel beginners als gevorderden en alle leeftijden.
Les in het Nederlands of Engels is mogelijk.

Op zoek naar een pianoleraar? In Utrecht vind je de vriendelijke Spaanse professionele pianiste Mar. Ze woont in Utrecht en studeert aan het Rotterdamse Codarts Conservatorium, en heeft al een masterdiploma van het Utrechts Conservatorium (met ook pedagogische opleiding)

Having fun is the first important step in order to learn more about this beautiful instrument. With the Suzuki method you can easily learn all styles of music and study a big repertoire of technics. We can discover different aspects of the guitar by creating personal and individual exercises in class. It's a different way to learn and a really visual method used to make learning fun for all ages. It does not matter if you are an absolute beginner with no music background. All classes can be recorded with audio devices and the music can be transcribed in tablature.

My name is Enrique and I come from Andalucía, Spain. I am a Classical Piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I would be pleased to be your teacher. It will be great to teach you how to play your favourite music on the piano, but also about its language, reading and writing, that is, the music theory, or even how to start improvising your own music.

All of this is actually interconnected and it is interesting to combine them in teaching. I adapt to any age, level or taste (you may prefer classical, jazz, pop... everything is welcome!). Lessons can be taught in English or Spanish.

Hello! I’m Leticia, a professional soprano from Cuba, now living in Amsterdam. I’ve spent years teaching at the National Conservatory of Music in Cuba, performing as a soloist, with choirs, and in ensembles of various formats, sharing stages nationally and internationally.
