My name is Daniela. I am an illustrator based in Hilversum and a part time mother of an almost 3 year old boy. I have experience teaching kids and adults languages mainly English and Spanish. I lived in China for 6 years and in The United States for three years.

Before I became a mother I got a special sensibility in how to approach kids and after having my son I decided to dedicate most of his first years for his development. If you would like to have some activities for your children in Spanish to improve his language, motor skills or development I can help you.

My son is raced as a trilingual boy with a Dutch father and an English speaking environment. I speak to him only in Spanish and it is incredible how good he is mastering his language. I know there are a lot of moms worried about his kids not connecting very well with their native language and I think I can help them out. I can also meet other moms that are interested in the language for their kids to learn.

We will do different activities from drawing, painting, music, singing, etc. The timetable we can organise together as soon as I get feedback from you.

Me llamo Daniela. Soy una ilustradora y diseñadora viviendo en Hilversum y también soy mamá a medio tiempo. Tengo experiencia enseñando idiomas para niños y adultos principalmente en Inglés y en Español. Vivi en China por seis años y en Estados Unidos por tres.

Antes de convertirme en madre obtuve una sensibilidad especial sobre cómo acercarme a los niños. Cuando tuve a mi hijo decidí dedicar los primeros años en su desarrollo. Si deseas tener algunas actividades para que tus hijos desarrollen la lengua en español para mejorar su lenguaje, habilidades motoras o desarrollo, puedo ayudarlos. También ayudará a mejorar su relación con el idioma y con sus padres.

Mi hijo es un niño educado como trilingüe con un padre holandés y un ambiente de habla inglesa, pero yo le hablo en español. Es increíble lo bueno que está dominando su español. Sé que hay muchas madres preocupadas porque sus hijos no se conectan muy bien con su lengua materna y creo que puedo ayudarlos.

Haremos diferentes actividades de dibujo, pintura, música, canto, lectura etc. El calendario que podemos organizar juntos tan pronto como reciba comentarios de usted.

Since the Gymnasium I give tutoring Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Latin and language courses Latin languages Portuguese Spanish French and Italian from basic or beginner level to Gymnasium level. For primary school students also arithmetic for example with fractions and percentages and all other modules. Also Dutch grammar and spelling.

I lived in Spain for many years. And so I not only understand the language but also the usage. I enjoy helping others learn or improve Spanish. I lived in Madrid, now visit Alicante a lot and have seen almost every region of Spain

I am a native Swedish, Spanish and English speaker and provide tutoring in all those languages.

During the tutoring sessions the student and I will look for ways of learning that works best for them, so they can be as engaged and retain as much new knowledge as possible. This comes from listening to the student and seeing their strengths and areas where more support is needed.
The key in my teaching is to make it fun. I am engaged and motivated with my students, and want to help them see the fun and value in what they are doing.

Lessons are customised to the learning needs of your child. Whether that be learning English, Swedish or Spanish for the first time or practicing improvement of speaking, reading, comprehension, pronunciation, listening, writing, grammar, etc. Lessons can also be aimed towards learning a topic such as food, animals, sports, emotions, and more.

For children who are fluent in one of these languages, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Specific subjects that interest the student can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge within this topic.

Depending on the students age, lesson duration can be adjusted. I also do lessons for siblings. My aim is to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment for my students.

Education:
I have ample experience working with kids as I worked at a YMCA summer camp in Sweden for many summers, supervising a group of 10-12 kids around the clock for 4 weeks, joining/monitoring them on their group activities/classes, as well as everything else logistically around them. I also have a genuine interest in child development and pedagogy as a whole.

I have a bachelors degree in Social Psychology and one in Media and Communications from Uppsala University in Sweden.

The lessons will be given with great pleasure and in a playful manner. I will cover the basics of Dutch, English, Italian, German and Spanish. We start by determining the current level, after which we will tailor the lessons to your needs. The lessons are structured using a workbook, but on request we can also go deeper into all aspects of the language.
