Creative art for art lovers and also struggling kids

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

This mentorship is designed for students or individuals who already development a strong interest for studio arts and is planning to develop a portfolio or projects, either for personal or academic purposes. The course is highly customized to each individual based on their focus and passion to create arts that is entirely unique yet convincing. Throughout the process of generate ideas to finalizing details, I will aid the students to find their own artistic voices by motivating them to think critically and encourage them to experiment for them to equip an artist mindset for the future.

Freeing Art for Kids & Seniors is a relaxed, judgment-free space to make art that feels good. This class invites children (ages 4–12) and older adults (65+) to explore creativity through drawing, painting, and crafts — no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try. Whether it’s messy paint or quiet sketching, we’ll go at your pace and enjoy the process.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. I deeply believe in people's creative potential and in my classes will help you channel your own voice.

Being able to bring into existence a beautiful art piece the exact way you perceive it is an exceptional feat. I specialise in the realm of realism and surrealism - and I would like to help others do the same. In my classes, you will learn the basics of sketching realistic features of people, animals and locations. Building realism through different mediums and techniques, regardless of what level you are in this class will help you reach your realism ideals. No previous experience required, these classes are for anyone with personal artistic goals.

This visual arts class offers students a structured introduction to both the practice and theory of art. Through hands-on activities such as drawing, painting, and working with mixed media, students will develop their technical skills and creativity. At the same time, they will explore important art movements, styles, and artists from different cultures and historical periods. The course encourages students to think critically about what art means, how it is created, and how it reflects the world around us. Lessons include discussions, visual analysis, and short readings to help students understand how art connects to ideas like identity, culture, and history. Students are guided to express their own thoughts and experiences through their artwork, while also learning to describe and reflect on the work of others. By the end of the course, they will have built a small portfolio and gained greater confidence in both making and understanding visual art. The class can be conducted in English or French.

Painting and drawing are not just techniques—they are also powerful tools for presentation, mediation, and self-expression. This class will guide you through the essentials of painting and drawing, covering foundational skills such as perspective, anatomy, and color theory, as well as techniques for analyzing and critiquing artwork. From still life and portraiture to landscapes, abstract painting, and multimedia art, this course will support you in developing your unique visual language. Based on your individual goals and interests, I will create a tailored plan to help you achieve the best possible outcomes in your artistic journey.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions? Every class is suited towards your skill level and needs. If you're interested in digital art, you can learn how to create digital arts using Krita, a free digital arts software that I highly recommend for it's tools and features similar to that of Photoshop's. If you already experimented on your own software, I will help you with rendering, anatomy, and composition. If you're interested in painting, I can provide materials if needed. I am experienced with both oil painting and acrylic painting. I can help you create both Fine Arts, or illustration. Procreate is an extremely versatile program used by digital artists including Fashion Designers and Story Board Artists. This class will teach you how to use procreate efficiently to create beautiful art that can be easily put on to your camera roll. I teach realism, hyperrealism, abstract, and animated drawing and colour rendering (aka just colouring) techniques as well as proportions, colour theory, and occasionally Fashion illustrations. I will also teach tips and tricks useful for using Procreate with ease.

A former student of the Boulle School in interior design, having worked for 15 years in the field of color, I teach color in a transversal way: Make your own gouache colors using my recipes, create color ranges, and combine them. This course has many applications for students, artists, craftsmen, those who want to do decoration. I also teach the history of color and its symbolism in all fields... In this class we will delve into different styles of painting and exploring different mediums, mixing and understanding the benefit and downfall of each, while exploring creative expressions. I will explore simple to complicated techniques all achievable for beginner artists. My goal is that at the end of each class we will have made something that can be improved with each class.
