My name is Sylvia and I am an American (from New York). I have been teaching English for the last five years, as a private tutor in a variety of settings; online, in-person and in a group setting for companies and start-ups. My style of teaching is informal but yet practical. I always ask my new students what their goals are and I would come up with ideas on how we can customize the lessons. This way, we can reach that goal one step at a time. I am flexible in my way of teaching because I have taught students from 12 years to 62 years old so don't be shy.
