As someone who has studied foreign languages themselves, I understand the difficulties of learning a new language. My goal as an instructor is to make students feel as confident as possible when speaking. I love teaching, and the most important part of my role, I believe, is to establish a comfortable environment for my students so they feel good and not intimidated about learning a new language. Each student’s study plan is unique so I begin by identifying their strengths and areas for growth. I’m happy to accommodate students’ specific needs and offer customized lessons as well. I provide individualized English language tutoring for students, adults and business professionals at all ages, levels, and skills. I provide help with writing (essays, thesis, scientific articles) exam preparation, interviews and applications, and provide proofreading services. I am CELTA certified in addition to six years of teaching experience. I can readily adapt lessons to fit all skill levels and learning goals. Depending on the individuals needs, lessons will primarily focus on speaking and pronunciation or building comprehension and grammar skills through reading and writing exercises.
