I'm a dancer, choreographer, and yoga student/practitioner. I have studied at Yogadarshanam, in Mysore, and Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi. Also, I graduated from the 3-year diploma program at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center. I teach different types of Yoga Classes: Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative to all ages and different groups of people. Some of the things I focus on in my yoga and dance classes are posture, alignment, movement functionality, breath, fight/flight responses, and the nervous system. In all my classes, there is an intentional focus on how we can shift our attention toward body and mind. 1:1 classes and group classes are welcome.
In my dance/movement classes and workshops, I offer movement functionality, breath exercises, basics from different dance techniques and styles, rhythm exercises, and improvisation tasks. Movement and dance are essential for self-expression, vocalising emotions, and allowing us to be playful and imaginative.
