I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle. This positive mindset really helps to drive them to reach their full potential and achieve the grade they deserve. I am very excited to begin tutoring and I hope to hear from you soon.
