Hello! I'm David, a Colombian from Medellín. I am a young professional in literary studies and a Spanish teacher for foreigners. In addition to my degree, I hold a diploma in teaching Spanish and have three years of experience teaching at a school in Medellín, Colombia. In our first class, the goal is to assess your current level and determine the best learning plan for you. Each lesson incorporates three key components: a conversational/oral segment, a grammatical and theoretical section, and a practical application. These three aspects help develop all the necessary skills for mastering a language. Finally, in the practical component, I design activities based on the artistic and cultural expressions of South American countries. I believe it is important to explore the diverse artistic and cultural manifestations of Latin America because they serve as natural, authentic materials that showcase how people express themselves and use the language in different contexts. Often, this usage can differ from the grammatical rules we learn in class, making it a valuable complement to traditional language instruction.
