Music theory is crucial in order to communicate with other musicians and also crucial to help under your instruments. However, it is a hard topic to understand and can be taught in a complicated way but I have been taught some great techniques that make learning music theory much simpler. I am a college student studying music at a HND level and before that I had an A every year for music in my SQA Exams so I can teach anyone up to Higher Music. I can teach online and in person, it is all up to personal choice.
