Hi there! I'm Ezgi. I have a degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Marmara University. I have my master degree in Educational Administration and Supervision at Yıldız Technical University. I have been teaching Turkish for 11 years in Istanbul. I started to teach when I was studying the Turkish Language and Literature and I also have taught Turkish to foreign students that are studying in Turkey.I have worked with teenagers, adults and seniors from different countries.
You may think that it is difficult because Turkish is an agglutinative language. In my classes you will change your mind because I use authentic and useful materials and different approaches and methods. Students are active, eager and self- confident in my class. I can help you with pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar to improve your speaking skills.
If you can speak Turkish but have some difficulties with pronunciation you can join my class. I just speak Turkish in my classes. (and of course my students too :) )

The lessons could be online or in my student's house or office. After lessons, I send e-mails when it's necessary. That word file includes a vocabulary list, sentences (corrected and uncorrected versions, you can compare both of them easily), grammar points, and homework for revision.

➖ Turkish for beginners
After this class, you can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. You can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where someone lives, people they know and things they have. You can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

➖ Conversational Turkish
The main focus of this course is the students' ability to express themselves in everyday situations. Conversational Turkish learners work on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar to further develop their conversational skills. They also receive individualized feedback on grammar and pronunciation errors.

➖ Business Turkish
The Business Turkish course is designed to prepare students to use Turkish in a present or future work situation. Students will develop Turkish skills with a focus on business contexts and environments, and they will learn vocabulary that is used regularly in the business world. This course will help practice and enrich communication skills by using Turkishin specific business settings and situations.

➖ Intensive Turkish
The goal of the Intensive Turkish program is to facilitate an accelerated learning environment in which students are able to acquire the Turkish language skills in the four domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing to be successful in their age-appropriate mainstream classes.

➖Turkish Level Assessment Test - Turkish Proficiency Test
This test has been prepared in accordance with CEFR (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) standards. Also this test is designed to assess your understanding of Turkish grammar, vocabulary and phrasing.
The test consists of 5 parts and takes 60 minutes in total:
Listening and Comprehension
Dialogue (conversation)
Oral Production
Reading and Comprehension
Written Expression

We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.

The French language course is a course intended for all types of people wishing to learn or improve French.
