Que vous soyez débutant ou expérimenté, la chaine d'un projet artistique, créatif , demande certaines connaissances et je suis là pour combler des lacunes. Pour vous aiguiller, vous informer, vous accompagner dans votre création. Aujourd'hui, on peu tout faire avec un ordinateur, de la simple maquette à la prod pro ultra léchée. Il ya des trucs, des astuces , une manière de travailler précise pour chaque projet, que beaucoup ne connaissent pas . Je suis là pour vous apprendre de A à Z toutes les techniques, basiques et/ou avancées, de ce merveilleux logiciel de création, de sound design et de production, qu'est Ableton Live. Je travaille intensément avec Ableton Live depuis plus de 20 ans. Je suis musicien professionnel et producteur depuis plus de 20 ans avec plusieurs tournées et albums à mon actif. Je désire partager mon savoir avec celles et ceux qui ont le désir d'apprendre. Ou simplement titiller la/le mélomane qui dort en vous , mais aussi, éveiller musicalement les plus jeunes. Du débutant au confirmé, il y a toujours, à un moment donné, le besoin d'une aide extérieure. Et c'est là que j'interviens !
Je n'ai pas de plan de cours pré établi, je m'adapte à chaque élève. C'est très évolutif, suivant les capacités de chacun/chacune. Quelques exemples de points que nous pourrions appréhender :
- initiation via Ableton Live. Aide à la réalisation d'une chanson, d'un groove, d'un mixage.
- Enregistrer ces propres créations ...
- Connaitre des astuces pour travailler dans de meilleurs conditions.
- Création et explication d'un template/modèle de travail qui vous facilitera la tâche, par la suite.
- Qu'est ce que les plugins ?
- Mixer ITB (Into the Box).
- Travail du sound design/design sonore.
- Créer ces propres sons, travailler, composer avec des machines externes ...
- Je vous aide à créer vos propres racks d'effets et d'instruments.
-Une introduction à MaxForLive est aussi envisageable.

Les Worshops sont de 2h pour avoir assez de temps pour appréhender les diverses notions et exemples concrets.
Vous aurez à votre disposition via un lien de téléchargement, la session vidéo, sur laquelle nous aurons travaillé, un fichier .pdf avec plusieurs liens en relation avec la session vu du jour (samples gratuits, m4L gratuits, lien vers des vidéos intéressantes etc...)

Ik ben een professionele gitarist, gitaarleraar en componist. Ik heb meer dan 10 jaar ervaring in het lesgeven in muziek. Vaardig in vele stijlen, zoals klassiek, flamenco, bossa nova, blues, jazz. Altijd al willen leren muziek maken in FL Studio? Dan is deze les voor jou! Ik ben al jaren muziek aan het produceren met FL Studio en deel graag mijn kennis met mensen die dit ook willen leren. Mijn ervaring is verbonden met verschillende bedrijven (MU Interactive, Simple Frame, Lightcraft, en ModulorVR daar ik video editing / mapping, VFX, SFX, 2d / 3d animaties, motion graphics deed). Voor ModulorVR werkte ik volledig op afstand ook.

Ik werk vooral met After Effects (met Poolse bedrijven klanten zoals MediaMarkt, Mediatech, ING enz), ik studeerde Final Cut en Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere ook) met mijn reclame school. Nu gebruik ik Blender, Cinema 4d, p5.js of Processing ook.

Volgens testen van Gallup voor team-werken zijn mijn 3 toptalenten:
1. Strategie 2. Input 3. Empathie. Ik heb ook veel ervaringen opgedaan met andere industries, ik werkte met kleine of grote teams nu studeer ik ook het Nederlands, ik verbeter mijn communicatie door offline met mensen te werken.

Doe ik vrijwilligerswerk voor FITC (Future Innovation Technology Creativity), ik Beeple of Pak persoonlijk daar ontmoette. Dus natuurlijk werd ik enthousiast over NFTs, crypto of defi en ben ik nu nog meer geobsedeerd door podcasts weer. Voordat ik Beeple of GMunk ontmoette, luisterde ik ook naar podcasts met hen. En Ik studeerde kunstgeschiedenis om voor de toekomst te bereiden.

Mijn eerste filmpjes maakte ik toen ik een tiener was, mijn visuele workflows begonnen met compilaties over voetbal... En zo verdiende ik mijn eerste geld (toen ik 15 jaar was), dat deed ik met onze internationale collectief voor SportsMaxTV. (volledig op afstand) Met Poolse visuele bedrijven werkte ik als video-editor / videomapper of motion designer, en nu woon ik in Nederland, dus word ik meer communicatief en sportief. Altijd leren is echt belangrijk voor mij. Ben ik niet bang voor nieuwe dingen, innovaties en om slimmer of harder te werken.

Hi, my name is Jim. I'm an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the Fontys Academy of Arts (Rockacademie) in Tilburg, Netherlands. Music has always been my way of exploring the world — through raw field recordings, synthesis, and emotional storytelling. Over the past 12 years, I’ve developed a complete, self-sufficient creative process: from concept to composition, sound design to vocal production, mixing, mastering, and live performance. I’m passionate about helping others gain those same end-to-end technical skills — so they can bring their own musical vision fully to life.

As Malvae, I’ve written, sung, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and performed all of my work. My music reached #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathered millions of streams, and featured in international film productions including King of the Streets and Netflix’s Terrace House Japan. One of the most formative moments in my career was my Amazonas album project, where I traveled into the Amazon rainforest to record and manipulate natural sounds. 90% of that album was created entirely from these field recordings, reshaped through granular synthesis and advanced sound design into a cohesive sonic journey. That experience deeply shaped how I approach my music and how I teach sound design and composition.

I’ve headlined shows at iconic venues like Melkweg Amsterdam with immersive, self-built audiovisual live sets using Ableton Live, modular gear, sequencers, and Resolume for live integrated visuals. I curated my own events and performed at venues like A’dam Tower, OT301. I also teach at studios such as Wisseloord in Hilversum, guiding students through the technical and creative intersections of sound and performance.

Selected Works & Collaborations:

My EP Like Bees to a Hive began as a soundscape for fashion brand Lobomar’s collection Final Orders, Please, presented at the Amsterdam World Museum. I collaborated with South African poet Julia-Beth Harris, integrating her spoken word into a seamless, atmospheric release. From sequential Prophet 6 textures to ADX1 drum machine layers and detailed field recordings, I handled every layer, from concept through multitrack production to the final live performance in London.

My Chrysalis EP, released as a limited-edition heavyweight red vinyl, pushed that even further, combining ethereal vocals, analog grit, and unique textures to craft an emotionally rich release. I personally led every part of the project’s technical and creative execution, from arrangement and vocal production to final mixing, mastering and vinyl press preparation.

In addition to my own projects, I’ve worked as a vocal producer and mixing engineer, including on Esther Veen’s EP Before I Go, where I handled recording, complex vocal layering, creative processing, production, multivocal arrangement and final mixing to deliver a polished, high-impact sound.

Muziekproductie en opnametechniek lijkt op het eerste zicht ingewikkeld, maar in onze 1-op-1 privé-lessen kunnen we de creatieve én technische tools overlopen die jij nodig hebt om je eigen creativiteit de vrije loop te laten.

Of het nu gaat om songwriting, opname technieken of beats maken, we kunnen het allemaal samen doen. Alle genres zijn welkom.
Tijdens de lessen kunnen we leren werken met verschillende programma’s, zoals Logic, Pro Tools of Ableton.
De lessen zijn voor leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveau’s. Kennis van notenleer is niet vereist.

Zelf heb ik gitaar en muziekproductie gestudeerd op het Conservatorium in Gent en ben ik al verschillende jaren actief als professioneel muzikant. Ik heb al 12 jaar ervaring als privé-leerkracht.

Lessen gaan door in Gentbrugge dichtbij het Keizerpark.
Het exacte tijdstip van de les kunnen we samen in overleg bepalen. Allemaal zeer flexibel dus.

Bonjour!

Kom maar af met je materiaal songs/beats mijn focus is om je zo goed mogelijk te ondersteunen in waar je mee bezig bent. Wil je graag wat meer bijleren over mixen, sound designing klank synthese, compositie. Leer je graag wat meer bij over het songwritting proces. Hoe start ik met een song of wat zijn voorkomende valkuilen, I'm your guy:). Als producer heb ik al wel heel wat genres gemaakt dus ben daarin ook heel flexibel;)
