I have been privileged to teach English to students of different cultural and professional backgrounds and of various age groups over the course of many years. While my teaching journey took me back and forth between classroom and private tuition, I have always found the one-to-one private teaching more enjoyable and rewarding for both learner and teacher; in the private context, the student’s level, needs and targets direct the learning-teaching process. I specialize in teaching children and adults. I make learning creative and fun and completely tailor made to each student's learning style and strengths. I place a strong emphasis on intuitive learning through speaking and reading and I let the grammar and vocabulary knowledge build naturally. I do follow textbooks when required but I also lesson plan around it, using the student's interests to make the class interesting.
