About Me

Being an English teacher in a secondary school for six consecutive years, I have gained valuable experience about catering learner’s diversity. I am also confident in boosting students’ confidence by providing positive reinforcement. The General English course will develop, expand, and reinforce multiple English language skills at the beginner to pre-intermediate level in a 1-1 environment either by Web teaching or students home environment or both. Coursework includes integrated study topics relative to vocabulary and study skills, reading, grammar use, idiomatic language study and application, conversation and listening skills. There are opportunities to take the set learning skills outside for practice on the general public to build up confidence in conversational English, which is supervised.

I specialise in tutoring English and Maths to students of all ages and abilities. I have experience in schools, FE colleges and HE establishments. I can also teach Singing as I have a background in Music Performance and Theory. I have tutored students successfully for their SATs, GCSEs and A levels in English and up to GCSE in Maths.
In addition, I have qualifications in working with special needs students and 20 years experience in this field.

This class is for children & adults wanting to improve their Maths and English skills, knowledge and understanding.

Each week a task will be set to consolidate the learning of that session, which will link into the next class.

I am offering French tutoring for all levels and all ages. I studied french throughout my academic life and then I spent a year working as an au pair in France. I would like to used my advanced knowledge of spoken and written French by helping other people learn this great language! I studied GCSE and A-Level French before taking a C1 course and therefore I could assist with exam preparation.
Whilst I was an au pair,I taught an English conversation class in Paris and I would like to continue this with new students on line.

Each sessions caters for the child’s needs to ensure they are making the best progress in Maths and English. Lessons are aimed for children in KS1 and KS2. The sessions are fun and engaging! Different resources and strategies are used to ensure children understand each concept.
