English Tutoring: One on one lessons with an English native speaker

I am a native English speaker, from New Zealand. I have taught English to ESL students ranging from all ages, and did so in New Zealand for over a year. I also studied primary school teaching for three years and worked as a primary teacher during this time. I have two degrees in Psychology and Education, and try to use these theories and methods in my teaching practice.

Classes will flow naturally and will be an organic continuation of current knowledge, which will expand and develop a students understanding of the English language. All lessons will have interesting content, and will be relevant to daily life, so that English may be more applicable to each student. From there we will build upon the basic grammar within English, and learn how to use English so that a student may communicate verbally, and write effectively, in different environments.

I teach English and American English at many levels:
- Primary,

I offer English and English-language tutoring aimed at linguistics, spelling, pronunciation and conversation. Ability to work in a field of your choice according to your requirements in order to develop or improve a technical vocabulary adapted to your sector of activity. I work with children, transforming language learning into play, with students of all levels and adults. In addition I do language certification preparation courses and tutoring.

Hello,

I am currently in my preparation year for the French teaching competitions (Capes and Agrégation en Lettres modernes). I have just completed my master's degree in comparative literature at the Sorbonne University (Paris IV), where my subject was “Contemporary rewritings of the myth of Persephone”. I have also validated a DESS in Teaching French as a second language (FLE).

I have been giving private lessons for four years now, allowing me to gain experience day by day. I have also given FLE lessons to students and adults as part of two language services (CREIPAC and Groupe LDL).
I give Grammar, English and French lessons to those needing academic support in these subjects.
Concerning my course in English, I completed a Preparatory Class for Grandes Ecoles (hypokhâgne/khâgne) which allowed me to acquire a C1 level in English. I can therefore teach the basics of language in production, expression and comprehension.

My lessons will adapt to the student's expectations. We will start from its difficulties to move towards new notions of grammar, conjugation and literary culture. These private lessons can be accompanied by homework help and in-depth study of the subjects covered in class.
I listen to the student and the family to understand the specific needs of each.
