ABOUT VALENTINE:
I am a polyglot language tutor who lived in England for five years and speaks English my whole life. I graduated university in England and I achieved a TEFL certificate to teach English as a Foreign language.  I have a C2 proficient CAE certificate, TEFL certificate and I study three other languages (Korean, German and Spanish).  I offer online and in-person tuition to students whose first language is not English, to those who want to become more confident in daily or business conversation, or to those who need support with school work.

ABOUT THE LESSON:
In my lessons I teach written, spoken and listening comprehension and vocabulary in parallel.   I teach all ages starting from 7 and ending with 65, so feel free to message me with your request :)   My specialism is conversation classes and active communication, but I also teach written communication skills, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary.   I customise my classes to meet your individual needs and I can help prepare you or your child for various exams, or cover themes relevant to your work.

Hello,

I suggest you improve your public speaking. Whether as part of a presentation, an eloquence competition, a Pitch, etc... I explain below in detail how my lessons take place.

~ METHODOLOGY ~

1) If the desired objective is specific (interview, team meeting, fundraising, TPE, presentation, etc.), I work on:
- the substance and its logic: constructing your speech
- form via simulation: train and correct yourself.

Nothing better to become aware of your weaknesses and correct them very quickly.

2) The objective can be to be more confident in general when expressing yourself orally: to be confident, to assert yourself without judging yourself, not to stumble over your words. In this case, I use improvisation a lot to get out of your comfort zone and surpass yourself.

In short, together we will learn how to be right and have confidence in yourself. With argument writing, improvisation, pitches, etc. Some exercises will be done during classes and others will need to be prepared in advance.

6 areas of work:
•The look.
•The structure of discourse and its development
•The standing/sitting posture, the famous “stand up straight!” ".
•The voice (use of singing techniques particularly applied to speaking)
•Stress management.
•Self-confidence.

Courses can be given: in FRENCH, ENGLISH and ARABIC (literary).

~ COURSE ~

For almost 9 years, I have participated, organized and chaired eloquence and debate competitions in France and Europe. Today, I am a trainer within the Fédération Francophone de Débat in the program where I have trained a large audience of middle and high school students and young professionals to assert themselves through speaking.

Today I provide eloquence/debate training for members of the most important debate and eloquence association in Paris. At the same time, once a month, I train students at the Ecole Normale Supérieur as part of the “Graine D’orateur” program.

Previously, I coached and represented several delegations at the Hague International Model United Nation (THIMUN), as well as that of the University of Cambridge. I also accompanied a French team of high school students to the European Parliament as part of the EuroScola program.

Accompanying, and, above all, seeing as these people gain self-confidence and convince their audience (whether a teacher, a parliament, etc.) has given me a joy that I never stop looking for. continuing my training work.

All participants in my courses appreciate the concrete and immediately reusable aspect of my teachings.

Coupled with a friendly atmosphere, discover another way of learning, where the student feels useful and unused, considered and not judged, capable and uncomplexed

Opening a school is one of my biggest ambitions,

When I was younger I was a curious student, and uncomfortable with the school system. Of those whose abilities are praised and who are sorry for the lack of discipline.
So I learned to learn on my own, and found myself to be a form of self-taught person who persevered in validating diplomas with flying colors, and in not depriving myself of doing something else.

In short, I learned to learn and trust myself while being demanding with myself, I am lucky to know how to tame my brain so that knowledge is a desire, not a chore. You never learn better than when you like it, when you find it attractive.

So this is what I want to give, confidence, keys, desire and results.
