Je donne des cours via webcam sur Google Meet qui permettent le partage de l’écran, ainsi que du son. Cela a l’avantage de permettre aux personnes de me partager leur écran et son de leur logiciel depuis leur ordinateur.

Je m'appelle Julien, musicien indépendant, j’ai fait mes débuts au sein du groupe Les Gourmets sur le devant de la scène lyonnaise dans les années 2000, réalisant plusieurs albums et plus d’une centaine de concerts à travers le monde(France, Belgique, Suisse, Luxembourg, Egypte, Maroc).

Durant mon parcours j’ai développé les compétences artistiques et techniques nécessaires à la production d’un projet musical : maîtriser le logiciel, choisir les sons, composer, écrire, structurer le morceau, appliquer des effets, mixer, masteriser un titre.
Je maîtrise les principaux logiciels : FL Studio, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live.

J'aide les musiciens à améliorer leurs productions et finaliser des projets qui ont du sens pour eux.

Mon but est de comprendre vos besoins et vos envies, et les combler grâce à un suivi personnalisé à votre niveau.

Je prend le temps de comprendre les attentes et les motivations pour donner un cours personnalisé et clarifier les objectifs à atteindre.

Je décompose le processus de la production musicale sous tous les aspects dans des cours détaillés, ce qui me permet de m’adapter aux différents profils (âge, niveau, rythme, style, objectifs)

Les cours via webcam me permettent de faire appliquer les exercices et conseils sur l’aspect créatif (composition, écriture, arrangement) et sur l’aspect technique (enregistrement, édition, mixage)

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

This class introduces the core concepts of film scoring and how music shapes story, emotion, and narrative in film and television. Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and level, from complete beginners to advanced composers, and can focus on electronic, orchestral, or hybrid approaches.

The course also includes analysis and deconstruction of existing film scores to understand compositional techniques and storytelling strategies. Students will learn how to set up and optimize their digital audio workstation for film scoring, define personal creative goals, and work with industry-standard orchestral sample libraries and synthesizers such as Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, and Cinematic Studio Series. Films with sound design and no music can be provided for hands-on scoring exercises, enabling practical experience working directly to picture.
