Hi, my name is Keegan and I am a Nursing Student from Australia and I have a passion for teaching.
I have done previous English lessons back home in Australia for ages 5-18years old
I am traveling and subsequently living in Osaka for the next three months and would like to help anyone looking to brush up and/or extend on their English

We would talk about life, hobbies, current events, art, to help you expand your vocabulary and become more at ease with day to day French and English. Learning another language is an enriching experience, and I hope we can share it together!

I have given private English lessons for five years before moving to Tokyo, for people ranging from middle schoolers to retired people, and have seen great results from speaking freely. I also hold a 112/120 score on the TOEFL test, and an "English as a Second Language" diploma from Cambridge International.

I am a French teacher [from Lyon] with over 35 years of experience [since 1990] in teaching children, teenagers and adults. I have worked for over 30 years, in London, UK between July 1994 and September 2024 in different cultural centers (BBC London too), universities, private schools, singing studios, etc...

I am currently living in Osaka, Japan since September 2024 where I teach French and English (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Level). In addition to that, I am studying in a language school, the Japanese language (Level A2: Elementary).

I also have experience in teaching online, almost every day for 25 years now, and I really consider it the best new way to learn languages, so useful and effective for both teachers and students.

During my lessons, I will help you progress in French using methods that are perfectly adapted to your learning style and your current language level. We will work on your weaknesses and strengths to find the best method for progression.

We will cover many different topics to optimize your French language learning. You will learn how to use vocabulary and grammar in real-life situations such as daily conversations, live readings of French texts, sentence and text writing exercises, and discussions on topics of your choice.

I would be happy to teach even if you want to start from scratch. From the beginning, I focus especially on learning the right pronunciation. I know it can be difficult sometimes but you can be really comfortable: French pronunciation is less difficult than you can imagine.

I've been a real movie enthusiast (not just French) since my childhood and I would be happy to introduce you to some movies from my country and talk about the ones you've already watched that way too!
