I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

Veel kinderen begrijpen en onthouden beter als ze het kunnen zien. Vaak helpt een schema, een tekening of een afbeelding heel erg om iets te begrijpen. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald. Ik maak een plan van aanpak met daarin gerichte oefeningen, strategieën en ondersteuning, afgestemd op de behoeften van je kind. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.

De les is praktisch en stap-voor-stap opgebouwd, met duidelijke uitleg en gerichte oefenopgaven. Er is veel aandacht voor veelgemaakte fouten en examenvalkuilen, zodat je deze leert herkennen en vermijden.

بصفتي طالبة هندسة مدنية في جامعة لوفان الكاثوليكية (ECLouvain) ولديّ خبرة تدريسية تزيد عن ست سنوات، أُهيّئ الطلاب لاجتياز امتحان القبول وأُقدّم دروسًا خصوصية في الرياضيات والفيزياء والكيمياء والأحياء لجميع المراحل الدراسية (الابتدائية والثانوية). أُقدّم برنامجًا تعليميًا ودعميًا مُصمّمًا خصيصًا لتلبية الاحتياجات الفردية لكل طالب. أُولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بالتفاصيل وأُركّز على العمل الدقيق والشامل الذي يُركّز على الأساسيات. أنا مُتحمّسة، مُنتبهة، ومُستعدة دائمًا لمشاركة شغفي بالعلوم ومساعدة الطلاب على استعادة ثقتهم بأنفسهم اللازمة للتفوّق الأكاديمي. دوراتي مُناسبة لجميع المراحل الدراسية من الابتدائية إلى الثانوية، بالإضافة إلى برامج مُحدّدة تشمل الرياضيات والفيزياء والكيمياء، وخاصةً لإعداد الطلاب لامتحان القبول في الهندسة المدنية.
